Glad your op went well @Esmeralda2662, & your finger is starting to heal. Hope your IH gets on ok tomorrow. I've had the dye injection before, when I was being tested to see if I could donate one of my kidneys to DH. It was fairly straightforward.
Didn't exercise before work today, as up a bit later. Tried to feel positive on my way to work. We've got a new head teacher, who is having a massive clear out of rooms, cupboards, etc. Think I feel slightly on tenterhooks, though she has been friendly to talk to in the passing.
The day went ok, think the pupils are settling back in again after the long weekend! Staff too 🤣 Chatted with a friend after work, then walked to the shop for milk & a paper before heading home.
Did a sewing job after tea, then finished the hand sewing after my bath. Glad to get it finished, so I can have tomorrow night to relax.
Grateful for DS2's exam going well & his gardening work, I've got leftovers for tomorrow's lunch, working with my fave teacher, that it's nearly the weekendUse it up, wear it out

Morning turtles, had a long day at work yesterday, cycled halfway then jumped on the train before the dual carriageway as I never want to cycle down that for obvious reasons! Work itself kept me busy, I am trying to get as up to date as possible as I'm on leave after today for a week.
Small spend on a charity donation and I also needed some sweetcorn. Didn't finish work until late, did the reverse journey home and then just chilled for the evening. OH bought us pizza from the pizza van that comes outside our house every week so didn't need to cook or wash up.
Was going to go to the gym this morning but think I'm going to log on early instead and then finish early and go after work as my back was giving me jip overnight and I was awake for about an hour from 3am, had to go and get my tens machine and put it on, it's a lifesaver sometimes!Save £2,400 tuition fees - £2,321.04 as of 08/24

Enough
You have what it takes. You are strong enough. You are brave enough. You are capable enough. You are worthy enough. It's time to stop thinking otherwise and start believing in yourself because no-one else has the dreams that you do. No-one else sees the world exactly as you do and no-one else holds the same magic inside. It's time to start believing in the power of your dreams, my beautiful friend. Not next year, not next month, not tomorrow, but NOW. You are ready. You are enough

Thanks for your reassurance about OH's CT scan today, @Thrifty_Taylor! I seem to worry about these things more than OH. He had a massive bowel tumour removed 10 years ago and since then has a very gungho attitude!5

I sat on a bench outside work this morning (8.50) for 5 minutes, it was too hot for me already and I could feel myself burning.
Don't forget your sunscreen! Now I am hiding in a shady nook. Still outside, and very nearly ended up with a blackbird on my head. Not sure which of us was more surprised.
I got paid today! Sadly 20% tax because it's a second job (0T tax code). I will get it back next April. Bit annoying though.
Still, some money hit my bank account and I have enough to get by. Yay! and it isn't raining, and it is my last day of work until July (at the moment anyway)4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Today I am grateful for some work with lovely people, for plenty of steps, for Pip finishing all his art work, for a good chat with a neighbour, for the warmth.

Did 2 different yoga routines today (1 is only 8 mins long though 😂). Had time to read a chapter of my book whilst eating breakfast.
A good day at work & managed to help calm another pupil who was struggling too. Stayed to chat with the teacher after the bell went.
We've had low cloud most of the day, but it did start to lift throughout the afternoon. Supposed to be sunny all weekend, so I'll be able to get out in the garden 😃
Did a bit of pampering before & after tea. Watched a quiz show with DS1, he's good company. Man dropped a couple of brochures off, so can try & choose a new front door. Does anyone have experience of composite doors vs uPVC?
Started a new series, did some of my knitting, then half an hour of my jigsaw. DS1's friend popped in after work, so I gave her a hug. It's been a while since she was a regular visitor. Think she was pleased to see I had the necklace on that she gave me for my birthday.
Grateful for DS3 weeding one of the raised beds, my 'me time Friday night', a good day.Use it up, wear it out

Good morning turtles. I'm on NSD 4.
I'm in another part of Madrid until next weekend doing a house and dog sit. The dog is sweet but a little difficult (wants to eat everything, barks a lot) wondering why I left my (well, my housemates') perfectly behaved dog at home to come and look after this one!! Sure it will get easier once we get used to each other.
Did a shop yesterday (came to €24 but hoping to make it last until next Fri-not sure how that will go) and then picked up some fresh bread and pastries this morning as I'm having a friend over for brekkie... we will sit out on the balcony (if it's not too hot, it's already boiling at 9:30 but the sun is pouring into the flat)
Grateful for sunshine and my bodyclock waking me up early, for feeling motivated, for not feeling the need to drink last night.
I'm on "reading deprivation" week on TAW, so I haven't read through any of your posts. I will catch up next week. Have a wonderful weekend turtles.Student loan £5655
