Today I am grateful for a good day being out and about, for dh and Pip going out for a walk in the woods, for my counsellor, for making a few more owls, for my audiobook.

Another NSD, could be #6
Did a short yoga today, as I was up a little later due to DS's waking me up in the night! Practiced Duolingo too.
Blasted my music on the way to work & sang along to try & give me a boost. Work was a little better than yesterday, but still had blips. Left quickly after the bell at the end of the day.
Did the ironing before tea, then unpicked & replaced 2 zips, stopping at one point to collect DS2 from the bus 2 villages away. Watched a whole series 🖍️👁️ whilst working away.
Sending hugs to those feeling under the weather.
Grateful for a slightly better day, the sun coming out at lunchtime, doing my jigsaw for half an hourUse it up, wear it out
Make do or do without!
If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours 😃

Good morning turtles. Today should be NSD 4. I'm doing well with my plan to have a frugal week although I have to pay the dentist next week, that's all coming from a separate budget and will probably amount to roughly EUR 140.
I received my new debit card for the new account I set up last week so have set up transfers from my old account and have made an appointment with old bank to cancel with them (needs to be done face to face - expecting the hard sell) Changed the details over at work as well.
I am going to do a house/dog sit tomorrow for a week (in Madrid) so need to pack a suitcase today. Will take some food over there that I need to use up. Grateful for houesmates making caracolas (I can't remember what we call them, chocolate whirls?? chocolate pastry snails?? :-)), for a fairly easy work week so far, for the weather warming up.

lcc86 said:@ditty1234 your earlier post about work and mental health resonated with me, I'm in a very similar position. Good luck with your jobhunting! I'm waiting to hear about one application but every time I check it just says "to be reviewed". I'm becoming a tad obsessive with checking it, it's not healthy!
I didn't post yesterday as I felt quite unwell after finishing work, so I had dinner and then went straight to bed. I did spend yesterday as forgot my milk for my cereal at work and also needed some apples.
Today I've made a small charity donation and also sent a £10 payment to savings and £10 to my Very account for my laptop. Checked finances and everything is looking okay for the month thus far, no nasty surprises. I also got an expenses payment through so sent that straight to my credit card to pay off some of my retainer costs.
Today was also the first time this year I've managed to get an entire load of washing fully dried outside in one day, not still damp, which is worth celebrating if you ask me!
Good luck with yours.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

Today I am grateful for Pip having quite a good exam, for an easy bit of invigilating (not as easy as f0xh0les' gig, though!), for the sunshine, for the smell of freshly mown grass, for getting an email written.

Three books read so far at work this week, including Thursday Murder Club book 4. Tomorrow is my last day, I have sat in the sunshine/shady corner reading after my £3 a minute x 4 x 9 shift, lunches all came from home, and the fruitbowl has been raided and decimated. It really is an easy (and cheap) gig, so will try and get some more work with them when they are next back in the area.My house is a total tip. Really looking forward to being able to give it a really good clean again at the weekend (tragic, I know), I will count it as a free activity.GCSEs proper start tomorrow in our house (Biology 9am) . So just trying to keep it calm and stable. However DS4 is being a total twonk.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Nearly a week since my finger op and dressing should be changed tomorrow. It's stopped stinging so hopefully all good. Just got to avoid knocking it or putting pressure on it. Signed off for 3 weeks so glad the weather has decided to be nice.
OH has a contrast CT scan tomorrow but didn't show me the letter till tonight. It mentioned a special drink but also a dye injection. Tried to go through it with him, e.g. don't eat after midnight and no breakfast, but not sure he was paying attention. We don't live together and I had to come home to feed next doors cats tonight and in the morning but I'm heading over early in the morning to go with him. Hope he won't eat overnight!
Sorted out some small toys and bits for the shoebox appeal. Had some new £land toothbrushes and H*me Bargains flannels so filling a box ready to drop off in June.
NSD3 which is a good start for me. Grateful for a sunny day, all 4 of next doors cats turning up for their dinner, my mum having a lovely time at the seaside with my niece and her little boy.
