Their app seems down?0

Works perfectly fine on my android phone.1

Wouldn't launch for a bit on my iPhone, and then started loading ok with an "overnight maintenance" message, so just emptied my easy access saver from online banking and then requested its closure through the chat feature on the app.0

Just closed mine, pretty effortless. Says I'll get the interest owed within 5 days.0
-
Balance moved away - via app
Account closed by chat - via web
Interest should be credited to my 123L within 5 days
Be interesting to see how close I am to my guesstimate of £240 interest
How's it going, AKA, Nutwatch? - 12 month spends to date = 2.60% of current retirement "pot" (as at end May 2025)0 -
I anticipated the app/web would be loaded today, so I set up the transfer yesterday planned for today. It has arrived in my account this morning. Decided to leave £1 in the account in case there are any more offers.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Credit Cards, Savings & investments, and Budgeting & Bank Accounts boards. I moved some of my balance manually this morning and didn't notice any lag in the app - moved it to my Cahoot account, which is effectively an internal transfer - moved it out using the Santander phone app and had Cahoot open on the PC and it appeared in Cahoot instantly - in that as soon as I looked from the phone it was there, didn't even need to refresh the page. I'm keeping mine open as it feeds my current account.
I did however notice that in the new app (which I'm not otherwise keen on) that it would allow me to change the reference when making a payment to an existing mandate/payee. My sister and I were only discussing on Saturday how that was an irritation.1 -
I'm still showing 5.20% this morning (using the app)?
Scrounger1 -
App still showing old rate of 5.2%, but online banking website showing new rate of 4.12%.1
-
I noticed that and presume that the rate applies until midnight and they'll calculate interest on your balance today at the old rate and the new rate from tomorrow.0
