Each time I've checked in - (recent as 3 weeks ago and will be next Friday), I've just been asked for a name. No need to show them the email or even booking reference code.
Only problem you may run into, is if the buyer trashes the room - The booking will be traced back to you :eek:0 -

I've stayed at Travelodge 3 times recently, I never needed proof of identity - Just your name and street address/post code.
What would put me off selling a paid for room to a stranger, is if they trash it or steal the TV etc, it all comes back to you.. I know there's not much to steal in them but still!0 -
Maybe its not worth the risk- I hadn't thought of the trashing thing. Thanks for the advice I really appreciate it.:beer:0

I would like to proudly state that I have just managed to save my company £764 by booking 11 rooms in one go for one of my colleagues who needs one every first Monday of the month to attend a meeting somewhere until Dec 08. Most of the rooms were £29, so even if he couldn't go a couple of times, we have still saved loads of dosh. The question is if I will see this reflected in my January bonus...Reclaimed thanks to this site:
£175 Abbey Mortgage Repayment Fee, £170.03 Capital One Bank Charges £418.07 Lloyds TSB Bank Charges, £2,671.55 Mis-sold Endowment Policy, all for OH0 -

OH my God, PLEASE don't tell me I could have used my private quidco account with a business Travelodge account (which of course is not in my name personally)?!Reclaimed thanks to this site:

I have booked 3 nights in June in the Tamworth one, will go to the Snowdome and Alton Towers I think. Need to find how to do Alton Towers cheaply now, any suggestions? I know there may be some offers come up soon but isn't there something about Tesco clubcard points? If you're going to stalk me, while you're at it can you cut the grass, feed the dog & make sure I've got bread & milk in0

Yes Zoe
You can use your clubcard points for Alton Towers they are worth 4 times in deals.
For instance if Alton Towers tickets are £28 you only need £7 in clubcard vouchers per ticket so you get it for a quarter of the price. We do this every yr and it saves a fortune.0 -
Will start shopping at Tesco then! ThanksIf you're going to stalk me, while you're at it can you cut the grass, feed the dog & make sure I've got bread & milk in0

Can you check into a Travelodge if it has been booked in a different name. When I have checked in the past I have only been asked my name but I heard somewhere that ID may be required. I ask for two reasons I am thinking of booking a room but am only 50 % sure I will need it. I was thinking if I couldn't make it I could get my money back. The second reason is I am thinking of bidding on a room on eBay but don't want to travel all the way there if I get asked for ID even if I might be lucky enough to get it for a few quid. It ends this evening so I would be appreciate some advice so I can decide how much to bid incase I later find out you need ID. I have kept the details of the auction to a minimum (I am assuming that it doesn't vary from Travelodge to Travelodge) in case someone thinks that I have an auction or something. In the past I have read posts where people have asked for advice and been accused of trying to plug something.0
