• Its true there are £9 rooms available but if you think you can get a friday or sat in any of the big citys think again. they are for out of the way places. thats ok if you want to go to these but they are very very limited, so dont get your hopes up like i did thinking a nice weekend break in the summer.

I've managed to get a family room at end of August in centre of London for £9
I hope it's good we stayed at the city airport one on their £29 deal and I wasn't impressed with the breakfast.
Also they supply towels but no shampoo.
The city airport one had no telephones so had to go down to reception to get bedding for my little one. Though they were nice to put us on 5th floor facing the airport so my little one could watch them.

I think they must have added a few more rooms to this £9 promotion.

Been keeping an eye on central London rooms and could not find any for £9. However have tonight booked a room for August Bank Holiday in central London for £9 - amazing.

Have stayed at a few travelodges in central London and never had any problems - £9 means a lot more beer money!!!!! and it's my birthday at the end of August too....:-)

You are definitely right. A few odd days are now available in Eastbourne that weren't there before. No good for me, but the message is to keep checking in just in case.

Any idea if they do another promo later in the year for September? Need rooms for Sept 18-19th in and around Newark :)

Was wondering this myself about November. As need to book for first weekend in November. Currently have a room showing then for £29 (good price still) but think we going to need to book 2 rooms so if so, to get them for £9 instead of £29 each would be a good saving.

Is this the same company that allowed people to book and pay for accommodation only for people to arrive to find their rooms had been given away on a "first come first serve" basis?

Yes, they operate a 'last man standing' policy.

If you don't arrive before 6pm they reserve the right to give your room away even if you ring them in advance.

The _only_ way to secure your room is to get reception to book you in over the phone on the day when you ring up. However, that's against their policy.

They have a flag in their system for late arrivals, but regardless of this, your room can be given away. Yes, even if you've fully paid and rang to say you're going to arrive late!

Hope that helps,

Will make sure I am there before 6pm then!
If you're going to stalk me, while you're at it can you cut the grass, feed the dog & make sure I've got bread & milk in :D
No rooms for £9 in Cockermouth :(
Is this serious or just having fun about the ladies of the night in Docklands? :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :D:D

It's an unfortunate name I know, named because the town is at the mouth of the river Cocker. It's in Cumbria.
