    Thanks Maman.
Good point! I don't want to gain any pounds at all but won't be back where I started!
That really has given me peace of mind to enjoy these next few days then get back on plan.
  • Hi all,

It's rather wet and windy here today so not sure if I'm going to get to the driving range today. Visiting the parents today, this is always a trigger due to the sheer amount of unhealthy treats around, I'm planning to take my knitting to keep my hands busy and out the biscuit barrel!

Back to work tomorrow so will be taking my own lunch and avoiding buying a sandwich and crisps!

My only other iffy bit this week is the cricket match Saturday as a spectator not player this time. We get free tea and coffee but not sure what the food offerings are? When we went last year there was a good but expensive variety but we are sat in hospitality this time. Will likely get a few steps in too due to rubbish parking and poor public transport.

    Food for today

    B: baked Blueberry oats, strawberries
L: 3 ryvita, marmite, dairylea light triangles, tomatoes and cucumber.
D: likely to be a mayflower chicken curry and rice as usual at my Mum's.

Afternoon all, wrote a long post and it’s disappeared!  The short version is I got up late and instead of a sweet omelette for breakfast, I had a savoury one for lunch 🤣 really enjoyed it.  Dinner will involve prawns as they need using up.

Forgot about ikea, good call @maman

Well done on the loss @annabanana82 and you’ll have that gain off in no time @beanielou with one of your famous wee losses.

Afternoon all, the day just seems to be disappearing today!  Can't believe it's 1.45pm already!  Had my hair cut this morning and also did a bit of shopping.  Managed to get another load of washing done and almost dried on the line - it was extremely windy so ended up getting it in as soon as I got back from shopping.  Just a couple of bits needed to be put on rads to finish off - both towels.  Just started spitting so glad I got it in when I did.

    Back on plan today:

    B - porridge; fruit
L - jacket potato, tuna mayo
D - pork shoulder steak, mash, green veg

    HEA - milk
    HEB - porridge
Syns - LTL mayo 1; may have a cereal bar later for 3

    Have a good day everyone.

It's just one day @annabanana82. Have a decent breakfast and then enjoy the hospitality and 🤞it's not all beige food and you can make good choices.

    Glad you're enjoying a lie in @Jellybaby. 😴😁

All go here too @joedenise. DH has been to the tip yet again and I've been trying to get building insurance cover for while the work is being done. We've a meeting with architect tomorrow and 🤞the builders will start on Monday.

    Today's plan -
B- HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks, eggs (P), tomatoes and mushrooms (S)
L- ham (P), LO veg and pickles (S)
D- spaghetti and meatballs in tomato sauce (P, S, F), HEA 2 Parmesan
    Syns - half Crunchie 3

Do you need extra insurance for the building works @maman?  Surely the builders will have their own insurance.

Yes, the builders have insurance but our own standard buildings and contents insurance won't cover the time the building work is being done so I've had to go to specialist companies. ☹️

That's probably a cost you hadn't factored in when you were deciding to have the work done.  It's not something I would have thought about!

Gosh, you're all really busy from the sounds of it.

I've decided to give WI a miss tomorrow as it's Eid day and I just want to relax and chill. May not even be around in the evening.

So knackered but it's the last day of fasting. It's just all caught up with me and I'm done!
But thankfully I don't have wee ones or have loads of family to cook for.

Going to clean and put decorations up, then eat maybe an omelette then go shopping for some nice food.
Will feel better once I eat and drink.
