You did the right thing to go to group and find out where you stand @Jellybaby. 👍🏼 Shame about the new, unwanted figure but you can soon see that off. Like you, I find a food diary concentrates the mind. Good luck!😊

Curry went well. DH enjoyed it but I think he's getting to like keema more. Perhaps it was because the Tikka Masala that I made was hotter than bought ones. 🤔 I have a meal portion in the freezer and a small one for me to have for lunch. I've added mushrooms and peppers to that to up the Speed.

Yesterday, I batch cooked Delia's red cabbage and today I'm doing swede and carrot mash. They're all from Easter veg wars as I just didn't get around to it before.

    Today's plan-
B- HEB porridge, HEA milk, berries (S), banana (F)
L- JP (F), chicken curry (P,S), leaves, pickled cabbage (S)
D- HB braised steaks (P,S), SW roast potatoes and parsnips (F), many vegetables (S)
    Syns- weekend wine😋

Looks as if I get a free week if I stay under Club 10 weight for 10 weeks. Pretty sure I got in there more weeks ago than that.
Not sure if that makes sense but fasting brain is catching up with me.

    Evening all 😁

Jelly that is not bad for all your celebrating and holiday.

Rose you have to have lost 10% of your body weight, the computer will tell you when, you get a pop up for pay person to read out, so then if it's 10 weeks, maintain or lose for the next 10 weeks and it will then pop up again for pay person to read out. HTH

That's really odd about the pitta bread @bubbs. Shame as you really like your stuffed pittas! 🤣

I've just been checking my diary and the 8 weeks from WI last Thursday takes me to just over a week before my holiday. That allows grace week (🤞I don't need it) so perfect timing. Anyone would think I'd planned it! 😁

Bubbs, so because I had a couple of weeks in that 10 weeks where I gained 0.5-1lb, that will mean I won't get my free week :-(

Morning all, after a night of howling wind and heavy rain woke to lovely sunshine. Hope Coxy is OK on her walk.

Today’s plans involve appointment with nurse for bloods, then a quick look for a new dining table for the kitchen. Looked online last night and they are either too big or too expensive! Not many shops left to look in either.

    Food today:
    B - fruit, l/f Green yoghurt, 1tbsp skinny syrup 0.5 syns
L - pea and ham soup
    D - spaghetti bolognaise with Parmesan HEXA2

Other HEXA will be milk in coffee.

    Have a good day everyone!

Afternoon all, back home after a lovely few days away in the motorhome where I most definitely did not stick to plan!  Too much alcohol, too much junk food and eating out and I'm in no doubt that I have put on some weight but it is what it is!  Will see what the damage is when I weigh on Wednesday morning as usual!  Hoping I can shift a bit between now and then!

Weather is really good so have taken the opportunity to do a couple of loads of washing and get it out on the line.  Still got one more load to do but will do that tomorrow as not enough room on the line to hang much more.

Hope you're feeling better now @bubbs.  That cough and cold seems to be hanging on a while now.

@jellybaby you did well to only put on such a small amount after your holiday, you'll soon shift that.  Hope you can find a new kitchen table when you look today - it's so frustrating when you can't find what you want at a price you're prepared to pay.  Our dining table is over 20 years old, we bought it just after we moved into this bungalow but it's still very stable - it's showing it's age a bit from where the grandchildren used to sit at it when they were drawing and painting!  There are still felt tip marks on it that I've never been able to shift and the grandchildren are all in their 20s now!

I had a huge breakfast fry up this morning including black pudding - can someone tell me how many syns they are please?  I've looked in my book and can't find it.  If it helps it's the Morrisons slices 6 pack in case it's listed on the app!

Don't fancy anything for lunch as still feeling very full.  DH just had a sandwich.  I may have some grapes or something later if I get peckish.

Tonight we'll have the burger and onions in soft pitta which we were going to have for lunch then the pork steaks we were going to be having for dinner will be dinner tomorrow night instead.

Hope you've all had a lovely weekend.

Glad you enjoyed your weekend @joedenise. We have to fit SW around our lifestyles. I was prepared to focus 100% to get to target but even then I made exceptions for holidays and meals out. Definitely the scenic route rather than route one! 🤣

Morrison's black pudding is 4 syns per slice.

Have you looked at IKEA for a table @Jellybaby? They've usually got sizes to fit all eventualities.

Our table from the conservatory sounds like yours @joedenise, well used! 😁. It's very stable though and we're keeping it for the new kitchen extension. We'll either sand it down or cover with oilcloth.

Yesterday, I used some YS medallion steaks and there were 3 in the pack. So I cooked them all and had another Sunday dinner today at lunchtime. 😋

    Today's plan -
B- HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks, scrambled eggs, ham (P), tomatoes (S)
    L- beef casserole (P, S, F)
D- baked cod (P), SW chips, mushy peas (F), green stuff, tomatoes and mushrooms (S)
    Syns - 0

Thanks @maman.  I had 3 slices so 12 syns - at least it's within syns and tonight's dinner is HEB + 0.5 and I'm having a couple 0% G&Ts for another 0.5 so that will be 13 syns.  That's better than I expected to be honest - I thought the black pudding was likely to be my full 15!

    Hi all,

My first week only saw a 1lb loss but I know where I could have done better, this week is far more structured so should hopefully make up for last week's minimal loss.

I has a great work out last night so really put my motivation up for a good week. Should hopefully get a 3 mile walk in later and going to the driving range tomorrow.

    Food for today

    B: baked Blueberry oats
L: Ham, cheese and mushroom omelette 2 plums
D: Meant to be Roast chicken but not really fancying cooking that - plan b is garlic and veg baked roast and Chinese pork
