Sorry @annabanana82, I knew you couldn't get to a group and, of course, it's perfectly possible to go it alone. 😊

I think it was @Abbafan1972 that said she was concerned because in the two groups locally, the consultants knew her. I was just trying to reassure her that nobody minds having returners. It happens all the time.

    Back later with menu.

We just seem to lurch from one rain shower to another @beanielou. ☹️

Hope the weather is kind to you @Coxy11 and that you enjoy your break @maddiemay

Couldn't agree more about the ever increasing prices. I don't know what's in the basket they use for calculation but everything I buy seems to be up well above the average rate of inflation, like food, insurance and building materials as examples. ☹️☹️☹️

    Today's plan -
B- HEB toast, HEA 1 milk for drinks, scrambled eggs, ham (P), tomatoes (S)
    L- LO hotpot (F, S), pickled cabbage (S)
    D- Spaghetti Bolognese (P, S, F), HEA 2 Parmesan
    Syns - 0

WI tomorrow 🤞then out for lunch! 🤣

    No breakfast pic @bubbs! 🤣

Do you think your mum will get her knee done? 🤔 Hopefully the injection will ease the pain in the meantime.

No she said she won't , although her knees are knackered it's not that that's giving her the pain, the pain is down the side of her calf , but finally she is going to get her hearing tested 👏👏👏 you have to repeat everything 20 times 🤣it's if there is any background noise she can't hear you

Ladies please do encourage your loved ones to get their hearing tested and sorted.
Unresolved hearing loss increases the risk of developing dementia by 30%!!!!!!! It was the main thing I took away from the Alzheimers conference a wee while ago.

Well, WI for me and 1.5 lb off so I'm very happy with that.
Did check my target and it's 3 lb less than I thought it was so I doubt that I'll hit it before my holiday as I only have 4 weeks and its 12.5 lbs to get there.

Does take the pressure off a wee bit. Ramadhan finishes next Mon or Tues so we will have Eid on Tuesday or Weds and WI on the Wed evening. So expecting a gain next week unless I can find a Tues morning class maybe. Hmmmmm might go with that plan.

Had couscous salad with feta for dinner. 1syn and hexa.
Then met my friend for a cuppa and we had a donut. It was lush! 293 cals which I figured I could treat myself to after fasting all day.

Morning all, horrible here this morning.  We've had rain overnight again but hoping it will hold off now for a while as DH needs to ride his scooter down to the shop to get it MOT'd.  It ran out a couple of weeks ago and didn't realise until we got a reminder the day after it had run out!  That's not much use is it?  It asked for comments at the end so I suggested it would be more sensible to send it out 2 weeks, or even better, a month before it runs out rather than the day after it has run out!!!  I'm sure the reminders always used to get sent out about 2 weeks before which gives you a bit of time to set up an appointment to get it done.  I know when my car MOT runs out so it's easy to remember to book an appointment - it runs out on Christmas Eve!

@NornIronRose - using the 20 cals per syn then the donut was just about within syns (14.5) as long as you didn't have anything else but as long as you enjoyed it.  Good plan to try and find a Tuesday morning group this week before Eid.

As we're going away for the weekend again I've rejigged the menu plan yet again - it's all I seem to do these days!  Need to get a few bits as want to make a couple of dinners to take with us that can just be reheated in a pan before serving with some sort of carbs.  Will  pop to Tesco as it's the nearest SM to the bike shop and then will do a bit of cooking this afternoon.  I've got some chicken mince out and I'm planning on using an old WW recipe for goulash with it - it makes 6 portions so will take a couple with us and then freeze 2 lots of 2 portions to use another time - just hope it's nice!

    Today's plan:

    B - Weetabix, milk, fruit
    L - stuffed peppers
D - Goan prawn curry, rice

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - 50:50 milk/cheese
    HEB - weetabix
    Syns - 50ml light coconut milk 2.5 (I think)

Can someone check the syns for the coconut milk for me please?

    Have a good day everyone.
