Well done Beanie and thanks for the shiny new thread.
Food looks amazing as always bubbs.Discovered how to save a load of calories for dinner. Had a bag of watercress and some grapes that needed used up. Plus a bit of natural yoghurt. Made a smoothie and stupidly necked the lot.It was drinkable but now I feel 🤢
Not the best way to break my fast lol.
Won't get to bed for a while yet as I have to pick dd up from work at 11.30 so will see how I can snack. Managed a hot drink to try to settle things which has helped a wee bit!0 -

Was amazed to have lost a 1lb tonight. On my own scales I was a couple of pounds heavier.0 -

Interesting was one word for it! Purely in the spirit of waste not, want not but will never make it again.
Just having my usual evening snacks now but saved all the dinner calories so happy days.0 -
Morning all. I did unsubscribe from the last thread, as I just couldn’t keep up with it and was not in a very good place.I know I need a kick up the bum as I’ve put on loads of weight and hardly anything fits me. I have 2 Pandora bracelets I can’t wear now as they don’t fit my wrist. I want to go back to group, but the only 2 groups I can get to are ones I’ve already attended before and the consultants know me.I am off to the doctors this morning for bloods to be taken, as I am having constant stomach problems and the doctor said about testing for Crohn’s disease.I just don’t feel great at all at the moment.Enough about me, hope everyone here is ok.XxStriving to clear the mortgage before it finishes in Dec 2028 - amount currently owed - £36,632.390

Morning all, weather doesn't look too bad today but for a change I don't actually need to do any washing!!!
Glad you had a decent night's sleep Sunday night; hopefully you had a good night last night in bed as well. Do you you a mix of yoghurt and lighter than light mayo on your coleslaw to help keep the syns down? Is that the pease pudding pastry on the pork pie? They look better than usual, not to say they don't usually look good!
Well done @beanielou on your lb loss. Does that mean you are still in target range?
Need to go shopping today and can't believe how long my list is considering I thought I'd done a pretty big shop last week! Having said that I'm going to be picking up another 12 litres of UHT while Lidl have it on 15% off - it's what we drink all the time now after it being all we could get most of the time when we first started going to France regularly, although fresh is much more widely available now but we just find it convenient to pick up a box every month or so but with our holiday being in less than 3 weeks time and that we picked up a box last week I think it's going to last until after our holiday to France (last week of May to almost end June).
Today's plan:
B - cheese omelette
L - tuna mayo sandwich
D - butter chicken, rice
HEA1 - milk
HEA2 - cheese
HEB - bread
Syns - mayo 1; spread 2.5; butter 2.5
Have a good day everyone.0 -
Morning all 😁
Welcome back abbafan, hope you get sorted soon.
Denise, I went bed at 11 ish, i was on sofa by 12.15🙈 slept well till 5.15 nodded back off woke up coughing for a good hr but not coughed significantly since just little ones that are controllable.
Yes I use 2 tbsp lighter than light mayo, double amount Greek ff yoghurt, mustard powder s&p, more p than salt.
Yes pease pudding for pork pies.
We generally have long life milk unless fresh is on offer but longlife keeps going up! But in the summer fresh goes off too quick in here with the heat!

@bubbs - have you got a Lidl near you? I think they're about the cheapest for UHT milk. They've currently got 15% off with the Lidl Plus card - £9.22 instead of £10.68 for 12 litres.
Sounds like you need another couple of nights on the sofa before trying the bed again, unless of course you can prop yourself up with pillows! When I've had chest infections I have 5 or 6 pillows so I'm virtually sitting up in bed so that I can sleep without coughing!
Well done @beanielou for still being in target.0 -
Hi all and thanks for the new thread @beanielou x
Sorry you're feeling poorly @bubbs - hope you feel brighter soon x Please could you post the pease pudding pastry recipe TIA xx
Welcome back @annabanana82 - are those consultants not very friendly or you just don't want to rejoin a previous group? I ask as most of our group have rejoined several times due to life getting in the way. Hopefully you'll get a warm reception x
Lunch was lush today. I cooked 120g of brown rice last night, let it cool overnight then added snipped smoked salmon, edamame beans, pickled red cabbage, pickled pink onions, chopped up gherkin, balsamic and soy. OMG it was amazing, and I have it to look forward to tomorrow lunchtime as well as made two pots' worth I had a small pot of cherry tomatoes and a mature cheddar portion, plus half a galia melon too. Dinner is smoked salmon and pea pasta. A few syns for the cream.
I'm at the top of my target range but obviously will be at the mercy of the 'meal deal' once we start our walk. Will choose pasta over a sandwich and will top up with fruit. If anyone wants the FB page link to see our progress/cheer us up/on(!) please PM me xxx
