Hi all, sorry for sporadic posting.
I have brought in 2 x sandwich thins today with a scraping of LTL mayo, thinly sliced cheese and HG salad leaves. Thought it would make a change from the poke bowls I’ve been making. Unfortunately the thins are 4.5 syns each plus I’ve got a lunchbox Soreen malt loaf which is also 4.5 syns. Oh well – syns will be at the top end or higher today but that’s okay. Dinner is pork fillet with stir fry veg and noodles and teriyaki sauce (again….syns…1.5 per tbsp).
DH and I have a midnight airport run to do later as DDad is arriving into Gatwick at 11.30pm. Will be needing copious amounts of coffee tomorrow to get through the day no doubt!
Had a nephew ‘wobble’ earlier outside the hospital when an ambulance drew up. Very embarrassing as coincided with bumping into a colleague who was mortified and being really lovely which of course made me sob even more. Ridiculous really. Oh well!
DH and I are trying to book a holiday for September. Has anyone been to Crete? We are looking at all-inclusive for a week (gulp). Just fancy somewhere hot and relaxing.
Puzzling about the little gain @joedenise. Maybe have a few more syns each day, or like @maman says, mix it up a bit??
Have a good day everyone.

@Coxy11 - Crete isn't particularly warm in September - only 17 degrees on average! If you want guaranteed warmth in September then you can't beat the Canary Islands. Temperatures are always in the 20s so definitely warm enough for shorts and t shirts. Plenty of All Inclusive places as well at reasonable cost. If you're doing AI I'd recommend at least 4* as we've been to a couple of 3* are they have been pretty basic room and food. Having said that you can't guarantee the food will be any good!

Afternoon all 😁
I am ok just really busy, infact crazy busy!

Took my friend to next town this morning after i took DH work, popped up the crem to see Dad's ❤️headstone as it arrived a couple of weeks ago , gave it a clean as was dusty .

Morning all, just a quick one this morning as I've got quite a bit to sort out for the long weekend away! Haven't even sorted out the food for the weekend yet apart from the meat we bought at the butchers the other day which DH will be BBQing, so I'll just need to do the salad that evening. No doubt we'll eat out most lunchtimes but if we don't then it will just be cold gammon, cheese or tuna sandwiches. We'll be having fry ups Sat and Sun mornings for breakfast, tomorrow we'll probably have boiled eggs & soldiers or maybe bacon sandwiches.
Today's plan:
B - Weetabix with milk
L - egg salad
D - sausages, mash, veg
HEA - milk
HEB - Weetabix
Syns - wine or G&Ts depending on what we fancy!
Have a good day everyone.

Morning all,
Finally climbed into bed at 1.30am and was up at 6.15am for work, so feeling decidedly jaded this morning. I had done 1400 steps before I got up today lol. Dad’s flight slightly delayed and then he misplaced his hand luggage – and breathe…..
Food today is:
B – blueberry wheats, Greek vanilla yoghurt, blueberries – HEB, 0.5, S
L – will get some sushi from Sainsbobs (1?), apple, cheese portion, banana, malt loaf – S, HEA, 4.5
D – sticky chicken, plain rice, broccoli, sugar snap peas – free
HEA – milk
I took the plunge and booked Crete as neither of us has been and I didn’t fancy the Canaries as DH usually goes to Tenerife with his pals! We are staying at the East end of the island and hope to also visit Spinalonga (from The Island book by Victoria Hislop). It’s a 5* AI spa hotel, so looking forward to it. We much prefer to explore than lie on a sunbed so 17 degrees is probably perfect for us thanks @joedenise for the heads up xx
That really was a bargain on the pork @bubbs – shame you had no room for it!!

Flying visit to say I won’t be around for a couple of weeks. Off on my hols later.
STS this week due to eating down fridge/freezer and a cheeky take out. I can live with that though,
I haven’t lost what I wanted before this holiday but I’ve got 10 weeks when I get back before my next one so I will be straight back into it once I return.
Hope you all stay well and happy and I’ll see you on the other side of my AI break - no doubt heavier but rested and ready for what the British summer throws at us.

Coxy, you will be hanging later! glad you have booked your holiday, i have never been there.
Maman hope the builders turned up today?Sealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance::dance:1 -
Yes @bubbs, builders did turn up today and walls have started going up! 👍🏻
Well done on booking that holiday @Coxy11. We've been to Crete a couple of times and it's a lovely island. I'm guessing you're near Elounda if you're close to Spinalonga. Loved the book too. 😁
That's a good plan @Matron_Midge. Go on your holiday, enjoy yourself and then make sure you get back to SW when you get home. That's definitely what I'm going to do.
Have a good weekend @joedenise. 🤞the weather will be dry at least.
I weighed myself at the surgery today and was under target. That probably means I'm towards the bottom of range as GP's scales weigh higher than SW. Pleased with that as gives me more leeway for my holiday. I did think about going to group for an official WI but didn't want to risk it.
Today's plan-
B- HEB toast, scrambled eggs, ham (P), HEA milk for drinks
L- JP (F), cottage cheese (P), leaves, spring onions and beetroot (S)
D- corned beef hash (P, S, F), cauliflower, broccoli and cabbage (S)
Syns - corned beef 4?0 -
Hey up all!

🤣 I thought you were going to say you'd lost so much weight this week your leggings were falling down @bubbs! 🤣 Good luck with WI tomorrow. 🤞
Is your dad staying with you @Coxy11 🤔 I expect he's come over for the wedding.
DH isn't feeling well today, just stomach cramps, so he didn't feel like dinner. Chicken can wait in the fridge until tomorrow.

L- LO hash and veg (P, S, F)
