Well done on your loss @joedenise. πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘ You seem to be having bigger losses than usual at the moment which is all good. πŸ‘

Have a good time at the wedding @Jellybaby. At least, most hotel breakfasts can be fairly SW friendly if you avoid the sausages and things like croissants.

Super end to your holiday @bubbs. Loving the photos. I like the giraffes but your car windows must be super clean. 😁

I lost just over a pound (1.4) today which leaves me just over target (0.3) and well within range. I'm happy with that. I've had a few unaccounted for syns lately like some mango chutney with curry and DH has been giving me a square of his chocolate after dinner but I haven't gone OTT.Β

    Today's plan -Β
B- HEB toast, eggs (P), mushrooms and tomatoes (S), HEA milk for drinksΒ
    L- ham salad (P, S, F)Β
    D- keema curry and rice (P, S, F)Β
Syns - mango chutney 1?, LTL mayo 1, weekend wine 😁

🀞 the car gets through the MOT @bubbs. I'm sure it's the country lanes that have made it filthy unlike all the rain at home. 🀣

Meant to say @joedenise, it's really good news from the hospital for Joe but a PITA that the DVLA are being awkward. ☹️

Morning all, still here, still plodding.Β

Well done on the losses. Good about Joe @joedenise but annoying you have to jump through so many hoops for the DVLA. Let’s hope you can get it sorted next week.Β

    Great photos @bubbs - glad you’re having a good time.Β

I’m 80% on plan. Still have a bit to lose to get to top of target (Crete holiday gain still hanging around 4 weeks later…!) I went to group last week and had been usurped (rightly) in the Pay duties so ended up helping on weigh with certificates. Didn’t go this morning as I’m picking up Mum then going to Canterbury to collect DS2 - we will have some lunch out. Maybe Spoons as it’s easy (and cheap!).Β

Tomorrow we are sorting the loft, so much body magic to be had. I’ve also run 5k four times this week. Much prefer the cooler weather for running although still look like a beetroot on legs!Β

    Enjoy the wedding Jellybaby Β

Morning all, how's it nearly time to get lunch ready? Β This morning has just flown by! Β Managed to get a machine load of washing done yesterday afternoon while the sun was still shining and it was ready to be hung out first thing this morning. Β Need to keep an eye on the weather as the sky's not looking brilliant! Β Not forecast to rain until about 5pm so hopefully it will dry so no need for the airer but we'll see.

Decided to have a few G&Ts last night so ended up using most of the day's syns but that's fine, it's the weekend!

Good to see you posting again @Coxy11 - I had the same problem with shifting the holiday weight after our April holiday and only just managed to lose it by the time we went away at the beginning of September but seem to have got away with a much smaller gain than usual on that one and only have just over lb left to lose which I'm hoping to shift this week. Β Well done on the running. Β Sounds like you've got quite a busy day today. Β We usually eat in Spoons when we're in Canterbury - The Thomas Ingleby rather than the other one (only just that one once and the food was awful!).

You're right @maman that the weight seems to be coming off more quickly than usual - I suspect it's because I'm being much more relaxed about things with not having the "official" WIs every week and just weighing at home, where I don't actually have to stick with the half pounds; last week for example it would probably have counted as 1.5lb rather than the actual 1.9lb which, daft as it seems, is more motivating!

    Today's plan:

    B - breakfast hash - P; S; F
L - LO fakeaway KFC; chips; beans
    D - butter chicken, rice - P; S; F; 2.5

    HEA - milk
    HEB - nothing planned
    Syns - butter 2.5; couple G&Ts 6

    Have a good day everyone.

Good to see you posting again @Coxy11. I don't think 4 weeks to see off holiday gain is long at all. You're doing really well. πŸ‘

I think getting back into target can be harder than losing the weight in the first place. I'm sure I wasn't alone in finding losing the last few pounds to target harder than earlier in the 'journey'. When you're at target, it's those last few pounds all over again after a holiday.

I know what you mean about the SW scales @joedenise. It's either a full pound or a half and we've all seen them waver and settle in the 'wrong' place. ☹️

The scales at the GP's that I've been using weigh to a tenth of a pound. What really matters though is that they weigh heavier than SW plus I weigh later in the day and in different clothes. So, if I'm OK on those scales, I'm definitely OK with SW.Β

I've made up my usual beef in 'red wine' recipe and put it in the SC for tomorrow. It smells good. I thought I'd do it today then it will marinate a bit more overnight.Β

OxoΒ  red wine stock pots were Β£1.49 in Farmfoods yesterday. I need to check if that's a good price but certainly easier than trekking off to Tesco or Morrison's which are the only places that sell them locally and they are my least local supermarkets IYSWIM.
ETA - They are a good price but also on offer (4 for the price of 3) with Tesco club card.Β

    Today's plan -Β
B- HEB porridge, HEA milk, strawberries (S), banana (F)Β
    L- veggie omelette and salad (P, S)Β
D- salmon (P), new potatoes (F), green stuff, tomatoes and mushrooms (S)
    Syns - weekend wine 😁

    Evening all 😁
We are home, was home lunchtime ish, done 2 loads washing, cases completely empty ready to put away.We went food shopping on the way home, picked post up so all raring to go.

Maman don't think the car will pass as sometimes screams like a banshee we i reverse πŸ™ˆ but not all the timeΒ  and yes it is muddy from the rain and going downΒ  single track rds .

My friend who i sit with at group messaged me , last week she had a gain of 8.5 lbs, she is a big gainer , but also a big loser, this week she lost a whopping 11.5 lbs 😱😱😱

Welcome home @bubbs. Β Looks like you've got up to date with the washing already - brilliant. Β Good luck with the MOT, maybe the car will behave itself while you're at the garage or it will be a simple fix.

Wow, your friend had a massive loss this week, even taking into account last week's 8.5lbs it's still an extra 3lb on top of that! Β Does she have a lot left to lose?

    Thanks Denise ,

Another load to do then bed Mon/Tues depending on the weather as didn't have time to get done before we went away.

I think the car is something to do with the brakes , (they work though)Β

That's what i said to her when she messaged, she is chasing 4.5 stone this week, but only needs 2.5, yes she does a good few stone but she has lost what she has lost in about 26 weeks something like that
