Had to call in sick, tummy issues back with a vengeance. Started again Sunday night but last night and this morning have been the worse. On the Imodium & maybe Dr if I can get appointment (not holding my breath) 😳Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Afternoon all, it's been a very busy morning and only sat down about half hour ago to have some lunch!
As it's forecast to be dry all day I got the bedding into the machine and out on the line before my hairdresser arrived to cut my hair. Once she'd finished we needed to rush out to Sittingbourne as DH had booked my car in to have 2 new tyres fitted forgetting that my hairdresser was coming later than usual today! Was a rush to get there on time and then they kept us waiting over half an hour before they actually started doing it - really annoying.
Hope your car isn't going to be too expensive to sort @bubbs. At least you can get it done quickly and haven't got to wait to get it done.
@TakeItEazy - sorry to hear you've got tummy issues again. Can you do e-consults with your GP or is it just a case of phone and hope for the best - we can never manage to get an appointment that way but the e-consult works really well and you'll either get a call back that day or first thing the following day.
Today's plan:
B - scrambled eggs on toast - HEB; P
L - water biscuits, cheese - HEA2; 5
D - sweet and sour pork, rice - P; S; F
HEA1 - milk
HEA2 - cheese
Syns - 3 water biscuits 3; LF spread 2
Have a good day everyone.0 -
Cars are a like computers IMO, great when working fine but when something goes wrong... Good luck with the MOTs and hope they don't cost too much.
Sorry to hear your tummy troubles have returned @TakeItEazy. 🤞you get some help from the GP. I think we must be blessed with our surgery. We can get same day appointments provided you don't mind who you see.
It's been a lovely day here, much warmer and even some sun! 🌞 I got out for a walk this morning and dancing tonight so plenty of Body Magic. 👍
Today's EE plan -
B- HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks, eggs (P), baked beans (F)
L- JP (F), cottage cheese (P), salad (F)
D- beef stew (P, F, S)
Syns - 00 -
Evening all 😁
TIE, hope you soon feel better .
Car cost me £392.24 with MOT 🙈 but sod me got in the car this morning and bloody bulb went in headlamp! They replaced that free for me though 🤣 would have cost me £20 in Halfords so thats a bonus!
Used to do them myself on the other car but can't on this one 🙄
Been really busy today, only had my tea!
Savoury mince, 2 yorkies, 2 syns, they came out huge! speed veg
I'll get a picture 😁😁

Morning all, looking to be quite bright this morning and the forecast is to stay dry until about 6pm so think I'm going to get a load of washing done - don't really want to come back to a full basket of washing along with the week's worth from our holiday!
Sounds like you had really busy day yesterday @bubbs. Glad you got your car sorted and not too expensive but annoying nonetheless! At least they changed the headlight bulb FOC!
Today's plan:
B - toasted cheese sandwich, pickled onions - HEA2; HEB; S
L - brunch hash - P; S; F
D - toad in the hole, roast potatoes, green veg - S; F; 6.5
HEA1 - milk
HEA2 - cheese
HEB - bread
Syns - LF sausages 2; Flour 4.5
Have a good day everyone.

After a great weekend, I now have covid! Friends I was with are fine so no idea where I picked it up. DS has temporarily moved in with my parents 😁 he can go to work and keep and eye on them for me, every cloud 😜🤣
Haven’t lost taste or smell this time round just feels like a really heavy cold and sinuses are very sore. Don’t really feel like eating but having soup and toast with plenty of fluids.Hope all your MOTs go well. Mine passed at the beginning of the year but has developed a squeaky noise that disappears whenever I take it back in to get checked 🙈Your food as usual looks great @bubbs. I thought about you yesterday when I was going through an old purse and came across the company shop membership card!0 -
Afternoon all 😁
Denise where you off too? must have missed you going away.
The car was enough nearly £400!
Jelly i will be going week on Tuesday. Hope you soon feel better 🤗🤗 Will you get some peace for a while now DS has moved in temporarily?
I took my neighbour next town this morning for an appointment, dropped her off 7.30 ish, crawled all the way back as that rd is so busy, popped into Lidl,(was out by 8.15) got a box, celery, 3 cucumbers, 3 bags of pears and a bag of potatoes, now that journey from there to home should have been 10 mins, i say should, 2 BLOODY HOURS later i get home!! i got home at 10.20! There had been an accident and the traffic was carnage with school runs and people going work, lots of late people today!
I had a picky plate about 11.30 as was hungry, steak, bns chips, mushrooms and salad for tea 😋😋Sealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance::dance:0 -
We're off to a campsite near Salisbury for the week. Going in the motorhome, looking forward to it as we haven't been away in it very much this year and to be honest I prefer our motorhome holidays to the all inclusive holidays abroad! Having said that motor homing in this country isn't really very good compared to France so would much rather be over there but of course DH is still trying to get his C1 licence sorted out so he can drive over there again!
That traffic sounds horrendous @bubbs but unfortunately accidents happen and we just have to take it in our stride and be thankful we're not involved.
You dinner tonight sounds lovely - not had steak for a while so will definitely be having some when we eat out next week!

Oh enjoy Denise, hope the weather is good to you, it's really warm here we have the door wide open!
Yes it was horrendous, apparently it wasn't a serious accident just a big bump, it's where it was , but people take too many risks there, they will never learn, quite a few bumps there.
This was the last of the steak i got from the company shop, it's so delicious bet they don't have it again, it was Asda's mature rump.
