    Evening all
Went to cinema with my boy and thoroughly enjoyed it. Nice comfy recliner chairs, not bad for £5 each. Neither of us ate anything 🤗
    So food today was,
B - granola & ff Greek yogurt & pineapple (suffered all day for that 🤬). (5 syns)
    L - erm nothing (stomach ache 😢)
T - (after film & dog walk) quiche, beans, mushrooms, toms, cue, beetroot & tsp red onion chutney (1 syn)
    No HEs 🫣

Not great but no rubbish either 😳

Morning all, a bit cloudier today and forecast to stay that way but still going to do a machine load of washing and hang it out.  Bedding will need to be done as well but will leave that until tomorrow as it's supposed to be nicer then.

Well done on being bang on target @bubbs.  It gets a bit annoying when it isn't written in your book so you can't be sure of whether it's a loss or gain but being in target range is all I've ever really aimed for.

Hope you enjoy your meals out @Suffolksue and @maman.  No plans for us eating out this week so hoping I can actually stick to plan for the whole week and get a loss!  I finished yesterday on 15 syns - would have been 12.5 if DH hadn't poured me a "real" gin rather than a 0% gin which I'd asked for having already had 2 which had been planned!

Glad you enjoyed the cinema @TakeItEazy.  It's not somewhere I ever go as can't sit still long enough and get bored even if it's a good film and have to move about!

    Today's plan"

    B - fry up
L - HM liver and bacon pate, Ryvita, pickles, cucumber, tomatoes
D - pork and chickpea curry, rice

    HEA - milk
    HEB - Ryvita
Syns - sausages 2; pate 1.5 (depends how much I actually have as it's 1 syn for 50g and I've portioned it up into 150g between us).  Not sure what else.

    Have a good day everyone.

WI after only 5 full days and lost 1lb 🥰 I’m happy with that as it’s not the pesky tennis lb, it’s extra 🤗🤗

Well done TIE.  Onwards and downwards!

Neither of us like the liver pate I made so saved a few syns - just going to count it as half as hardly ate any of it.  Ended up having some crab sticks with the Ryvita but needed to syn some LF spread so a couple of syns there.  Will bin the rest of the pate - not very MSE but not MSE to pay electric to keep it in the freezer until it becomes inedible either!  I usually make pate with chicken livers but found a recipe for lambs liver which is what I had because that's what we had for dinner the other day.  It was just too livery - will stick to chicken livers in future.

3.5 syns for 15g @TakeItEazy. Many congratulations on your loss. 👏👏👏 Ideally, how much would you like to lose through the school holidays? Are you far off target? 🤔

Well done on your loss yesterday @bubbs. 👏👏👏 Was that in 6 days? 🤔

I know it goes against the grain to throw food away @joedenise but if neither of you will eat the pate then no point in keeping it. Just chalk it up as an experiment. At least liver is relatively cheap.

It's quite warm and bright here today. Not too hot though as I did some ironing this morning, first time in weeks.

    Today's plan -
B- HEB porridge, HEA milk, strawberries (S), banana (F)
L- JP (F), cottage cheese (P), salad and pickles (S)
    D- sweet and sour chicken (P, S), noodles (F)
    Syns - Ben's sauce 1.5, weekend wine 😊

@bubbs - the syns were for brandy and some butter but it's kind of irrelevant now seeing as we won't be eating it.  I've go back to doing my old recipe after this which IIRC is syn free - it certainly didn't have brandy in it!

    Enjoy the theatre tonight.

Well I had a lovely meal on Friday evening and again yesterday lunchtime ( had forgotten about that one )
was managing  quite well until I succumbed to a 2nd glass of wine closely followed by the Tiramisu ( thereby proving what they say about alcohol ruining good decisions)
yesterday I had a steak sandwich and only had half the bread and a lot of water !

Think I will say 50 syns so 55 left until Thursday, will try and keep it v low

    so far today
B scrambled eggs with smoked salmon on 1 slice whole meal toast with a scrape of marmite
    will add to this later

Morning all, another lovely bright sunny day.  Have done the bedding and got it out on the line but it's just hanging there as no breeze at all, still at least the heat of the sun should dry everything.  A load of whites in soak to wash tomorrow.

Well done @suffolksue on drawing the line and getting straight back on plan.  Love scrambled eggs with smoked salmon but don't have it often as DH isn't keen!

Ended yesterday on 11 syns.  Today's plan:

    B - fry up
L - LO curry, couscous (there's only enough rice for DH so I'll just have mine with couscous)
D - roast pork, roast potatoes, roasted pepper and courgettes (from garden), chard from garden, green beans, peas

    HEA - milk
HEB - may have a couple of Ryvita and a cereal bar (or may not!)
    Syns - 2 LF sausages 2; apple sauce 2; mini milk 1.5

    Have a good day everyone.
