Morning all, lovely blue skies this morning so nice after the cloudy skies yesterday.  Also supposed to be warmer.

Not too much planned today other than making a curry for tomorrow night's dinner (currently cooking the dried chickpeas I soaked last night) and some liver and bacon pate.  Will also be chatting to my sister later so that will be about an hour out of my day!

I've decided to restart weighing on a Friday with my new scales as they are definitely reading a bit higher than my old ones.  With the new scales I am 2.4lb above my top end of target range so not even sure I'm going to make it back to top end before my holiday with the way things are going!  All I can do is carry on plodding as @beanielou would say.

    Today's plan:

    B - mushroom omelette
L - cheese and beetroot sandwich
D - fish pie, peas, courgettes

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
    HEB - bread
Syns - LTL mayo 1 (will use instead of spread on my sandwich); cheese sauce mix 4; mini milk 1.5; couple of G&Ts 6

Definitely seems to be helping writing things down as not gone over syns so far but only 2 days!  Actually I'm going to bin that food diary and start a fresh one today as that makes sense with changing WI day.

    Have a good day everyone.

I’ve weighed myself  oh dear !

I’mout for a belated birthday dinner with friends this evening ,just looked at the restaurant menu (Italian says authentic) all seems v high fat lots of oil etc but quite expensive so I expected v small portions ,will do my best
trying to keep it low during the day ,so

B 1 weetabix (Aldi ) with raspberries, strawberries ,a banana and fat free gk yoghurt .

L probably last two crispbreads ,ham and tomatoes

    D ??

    HEA  milk
    cheese
    HEB 1 weetabix ,crisp bread

    Syns ?

@Suffolksue - try to pick a tomato based pasta dish at the Italian this evening as that will be the lowest syns.  Something like a bolognaise would probably be OK - according to the book a 550g portion would be 9.5 syns so well within your syns.

Enjoy whatever you decide to have, draw the line and get back on it tomorrow.  As we always say life has to revolve around SW not the other way round.

I think Friday is the ideal day for a WI @joedenise. As I save most of my syns for a weekend, it gives maximum time for any reining in needed. 👍

I agree about trying to have a tomato based dish @Suffolksue. Spaghetti pomodoro is usually a good bet and often better value as it's meat free. What really matters though is that you enjoy yourself and then get back on plan tomorrow.

I'm out twice next week but as I'm weeks off WI I'm not going to worry about it. I'll stay on plan in between though.

    Today's plan -
B- HEB toast, scrambled eggs (P), tomatoes and mushrooms (S), HEA1 milk for drinks
    L- lentil soup (P,S), chicken salad (P, S)
D- spaghetti and meatballs in tomato sauce (P, F, S), HEA 2 Parmesan
Syns - LTL mayo 1, weekend wine 😁

    Evening all 😁

I am absolutely knackered!! I have been so busy it's unreal, today i have been writing orders out to make up, took me from 9.30 -4.30! The spanner in the works is hair cut and theatre tomorrow, we usually got to the unit to get the stuff after SW on a Saturday and make them up, DH reckons we will still have time, i don't think we will 🤔

Well weigh in 🤔   The scales said I'd lost 1lb but I think I put half on as my weight wasn't written in my book last week. I'll take it though bang on target. Just see what happens next week But i lost the plot today and ate a whole big bag of chocolate buttons 🙈🤣

    Other food has been ok

    ham and melon

soft pitta with cheese and beetroot and salad, tomato

    Fake KFC and salad
