I struggle with this too - I'll sit for hours thinking about doing something!  The thing that works for me is not sitting down - so either go as soon as I get up, or as soon as I finish work, or latch it on to something I have to do - so walk the kids to school instead of taking the car.

    Up 1lb.
Another tough week for various reasons.
But I know why I’m increasing:
    - less physical activity
    - more carbs than before
    - more butter than before
    - too big a snack when I get in from work
    - eating two squares of chocolate instead of one after dinner

I felt my mojo returning at the end of this week - resisted the sweet counter at the top of the office on Thursday and Friday and the urge to have crisps (my nemesis! 😉) last night.
Once again, I shall re-set and try again.

    Good morning,

I am a whole 1/4 lb lighter this morning. I know that my food intake is a lot healthier than it was though so I'll take my mini loss and roll with it.

I'm sorry that I haven't posted this week - it's been a very busy week of doing things for other people and not much time for myself. My shed roof was fixed on Monday (the supports for the roof, not the actual roof) and then I went with the joiner to a friend's house where friend also needs some work doing. Tuesday I took my dad's cousin out, Wednesday was a hospital appointment then bf's house for gardening. In the evening the HT was nervous about his exam so we went for a drive. Thursday was the HT's last uni exam (so he's done with that until September) and I kept him company until it was time for him to be dropped off then I picked him up when he was done and we went for a coffee and Friday was some housework followed by gardening at bf's.

Hopefully next week will be more peaceful. I think that I haven't had enugh to drink some days so I will try to be more aware of that this coming week. The HT is going to help me with some house bits that need doing as well as trying to do more exercise himself.

@KajiKita forgive yourself and move on, if you're having a tough time you have to be kind to yourself too.

@jwil after a day/week spent doing things for other people it's easy to persuade yourself that you need a rest isn't it? I need a mental rest too to clear my head of all of the "peopling".

Take care all of you  😊

I am a bit fat. I don’t ever wear dark clothes. I love colour.

I much prefer dark or solid colours and have a real aversion to patterns. I don't like to wear fuss or frills, and generally choose v necks and tie waist things.

Absolutely love some of the patterned stuff though, just not on me.

lots of salad being eaten here, and my new walking trousers are starting to feel loose hurrah

Well done on all the losses, and for all the effort made even if it didn't result in a loss!

I am very fat, and like patterns and bright colours on tops.  I prefer clean lines though and it's so hard to buy plus sized clothes which don't have either weird hemlines, acres of fabric or frills and fancy bits.  It's very frustrating and as a result I wind up wearing an awful lot of black.  I also like my t-shirts to cover my rear, but so many of them are really short.

I haven't had a great week food-wise - too much bread for sure and a lot of snacking.  I got on the scales this morning, and I have no idea what I weigh.  They are rubbish.  I got 3 wildly varying readings.  I probably need to replace them but am not in a rush to do so, so I'll just keep plodding.

Morrisons do some nice longer length tunic and curved hem tops @jwil for £6/£8, my standard non working wardrobe atm. 'Trapeze' vests as well, but they tend to be patterned.  I've got a long body and short legs, and have to be careful not to wear things that cut me in half at my widest point.

Lisa Newport 'Project Fab' is well worth a read if you have kindle unlimited, all about style, and dressing for shape etc. I did a few of her courses a few years back and it was transformational for me.

@jwil - I buy t-shirts in the men's department, as here in the US, they are longer. Don't know if that would work over there.
