Ricks doing well today - no new news

Saw the burglar of my office today on CCTV i cant believe i passed him!!! smartly dressed 40ish bloke - and there he was a few minutes later exiting via the fire exit stuffing my lovely pink purse into his trouser pocket:mad: (i took a photo of him on my borrowed mobile from the tv screen and i am soooooo tempted to put it on the internet). but he has my address as he has my driving licence!

You have passed the CCTv to the police havent you? This guy needs catching I doubt you were the 1st or the last he's done this too

God i know what i would love to do with this low life:mad: God I'm so mad for putting you through this , I know how much it hurts because it happened to me , But this person took it out of my bag and i didn't feel a thing the police asked what was in my purse and i started to cry because i had my baby's photo etc, and the police said they would just take what they need and just bin it:mad: and it wasn't the money it was my dear items i held close to my heart but i knew i would never see them again, That was 19 yrs ago and i have never got over it.

This low life needs to be stopped i hope the police can help

I just wanted to say that I went to give blood today after not giving any for a few years. It's so easy to forget to donate, but this thread reminded me of how important it is.

Glad to hear Rick continues to improve

thanx creamcheese, i cant currnetly donate as i am under medical supervision awaiting further surgery.. its great to know others are as i have not been able to give blood since dec 06!!

ricks still doing ok - tried him off the respirator for a few hours and he managed well, they will try more time today. he's desperate for a drink of milk but cant have it at the mo.

booked my blood donation session on 1st feb, i hope they wont turn me away - as far as i can see (doing the online questionnaire) there shouldnt be a problem
