    update

Rick's had a better day - yesterday just seems to have been a blip on his recovery - there is no explanation on why he was like he was yesterday but he seems to be over what it was.

went to work today and some Wazzock stole mine and my collegues purses and phones from the office - it all happened in seconds as i was in doing paperwork all afternoon and only left the office once for a wee. fortunately i didnt have much money in mine (less than a tenner). but cancelled cards etc is a pain which i had to do - the only problem is that i will have to find a way to get some petrol as i have nearly run out and my oh is away for a couple of nights.

the fortunate thing is that all who enters the building is on cctv (and its very clear) and the place was quiet this pm with only a handful of visitors

Glad to hear Rick has had a better day today. I am sure there will be days when he is better than others but hopefully the number of not so good days will reduce in time.

Really sorry to hear about you and your colleague's bad day and hope you manage to get some money for petrol.

oh my word fsdss thats horrible news! how could someone do such a thing:mad:
it never rains but it pours eh:rolleyes: lovely to hear Rick is progessing well even if he did have a bit of a set back the other night - i'm guessing the frustration for him might have been a factor. How awful for him not to be able to communicate as normal - i bet he feels much better in himself. If hes dyslexic then pics instead of letters would be much better - he's not well enough to concentrate that hard I bet lol. anyway i'm waffling now so just take care & wish him well asap
I THINK is a whole sentence, not a replacement for I Know

thanks - - i do have some spare change in the car for hospital parking and i found about a fiver knocking around the house - if i need more i'll just raid the childrens piggy banks til i can get to the bank on thurs. and if in pure desperation i can always dip into my £2 saving tin which needs to be opened with a can opener. but i wont need money til thurs and i can survive on a fivers worth of petrol til then.
