That is very good news. Please look after yourself too.

yes i will - but i'm at work tomorrow and where i work (small place) there are 2 GP's amongst other health professionals who will discuss Rick because i have asked for time off at lunch to visit him (i am working only 10 mins from Glenfield). we're quite a close group so i am sure that they will give me extra TLC like they did last week when i went to work for a cup of tea on the way home from the hospital because whilst i was driving my legs were like jelly, and i couldn't concentrate on driving, so thought i'd better stop and take a break.

    update

i've just had a very excited husband on the phone - having just been to the hospital.

Rick's had his Tracheoctomy (one day i will spell it). and is now sedated - however Rick opened his eyes and tried to focus on my oh. when my oh spoke to him there was a definite visual response from Rick and this has been apparent all day according to his nurse, Although his eyes look like they have cataracts.

this time last week i thought I'd never even be able to see this again - even the littlest sign is a miracle.

now i haven't slept well for the past 11 days or so - and tonight will be no different

COZ I WONT BE ABLE TO SLEEP FOR EXCITEMENT.:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D
