Hope that helps.
I'm dressed, eaten breakfast, supped brew 2, fed the birds, put out the recycling and brought in the emptied garden waste bin. Finished another book and put it on the cs pile. Coffee next.

Thnaks Round - between you and a lurker I'm there. Waves at said lurker
More rubbish added to black bin.
New savings a/c opened. Jeans and pj bottoms back on line. More bolognese out of shed freezer. Today we will have lasagne. Shed freezer emptying satisfactorily. Need to check inventory though as the bolognese wasn't on it - and there were two!Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

I went to bed later than usual and slept better over all, but I did wake myself up calling out as I was being chased through a dark church by an unknown assailant. 😱
I'm up, made my bed, taken my meds, completed Wordle and Connections, and I'm supping a brew.
@Cloth_of_Gold - I'm not far from your old stomping ground of 'ull. But I live south of the muddy river. And thankyou for your lovely comments. 😍
YL - knowledge is power 😉 I've had a word with my amygdala this morning- but it answered back! Said it's not his fault he's overactive if I insist on waking him up with frightening dreams. Hmmm. 🤔 Which came first the chicken or the egg? Have you tried the STOP technique? I find it usually works. And there's been a lot of deep breathing going on round here as that's supposed to calm the amygdala. (I love that word..but then I'm a geek 🤓. )
I didn't phone the tree surgeon to discuss removal of the large conifer as there's birds already nesting in it. So that'll be an end of the year job.
Right. Brew 2 and then I'll be back with a Round.
Hugs to all.
RxxMy maternal grandmother came from Lincolnshre (Riby) and we had other family in north Lincs (Caistor, Healing etc.) The generation before were a bit further south, near Louth. When I was a child we would go across to Lincs to visit my great aunts, my grandmother's sisters and also my maternal grandfather's sisters. Hull wasn't exactly at the forefront of modernity in those days but going to those small villages in north Lincs was like going back to the 19th century lol. One aunt had a pump for cold water in the kitchen and another had a pig in a sty next to her cottage. Of course, it's all changed now.Sometimes my father drove, going over the old Ouse bridge as this was long before the current one was built, or sometimes we went over on the ferry, which was much more romantic and exciting, especially in bad weather! All those great aunts are dead now, although they were all long-live, the oldest being in her late 90s when she died. We've lost contact with their descendants and I haven't been for years but my brother and his wife usually go to Brigg market when it's on.@Asparklierblonde I'm sorry you're having to sell the sheep. Although I've never owned any sheep (although I"m sure they would be happy in our spare room lol) I can imagine it must be sad for you. Maybe in the future you can have some more. I'd like to have some goats and alpacas but obviously that's not going to happen.@pigpen your comment about the lurker really made me laugh.Took a walk to the shops this morning and have also done a couple of loads of washing and am part way through the TDing. Have done the usual lunch and tea prep and washing up, and the eye drops, although am a bit behind on those.

tea was easy, 2 leftover portions of bolognese, one from the shed freezer, transformed into lasagne with an easy white sauce and some grated cheese on top, left in the oven until DD rocked up.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson

Pigs in stys next to houses - check 👋🤣
I am very very sad to see the sheep go. I’ll miss Nigel, my favourite tup, the most. But I can’t make ends meet financially or magic up another 4 hours per day and something has to give.Council tax bill has arrived, £1500 WITH single person discount… sheep money will go towards. I’ve just hoofed a load of coal on the fire and headed to bed with a book. Love to all xx8
