😂😂 Just goes to show that people commenting on other people's relationships don't always know best! 😂

Also thank you both 😊 I have been stencilled and am just hanging round waiting for it to dry. It's quite ridiculous - we have drawn it ourselves so it isn't exactly high art 😂😂 I don't think I can even show you because it'll be very identifiable for people who know me in real life 😂😂

Happy tattoo and anniversary day, have you been cling filmed?

It's actually fancy transparent plaster stuff (but yes, it's basically like cling film). Delighted with it 😁 It's utterly ridiculous but I love it 😂

Oh, and an MSE win to report. (Aside from the fact that we bought nice ingredients for tea rather than going out to eat).
Microwave broke a few weeks ago. Mr C spent weeks looking for a replacement in a charity shop (with dials, not buttons) and eventually i got sick of waiting and suggested he use our bank vouchers to buy a new one online. He didn't, and I've been on the verge of doing it myself for the last couple of weeks. But today we found one in a charity shop for £10 🙄😂
so a win - it cost £10, it works, it even matches the kettle and toaster (one from a charity shop, the other from the tip and certainly not an intentional match 😂)
New one in place, old one removed (it was still in use, just didn't ever stop unless you opened the door, even if the timer had stopped, so you couldn't leave the kitchen). I've put it by the door to take to the tip tomorrow. Nobody else will want it - it was old when we got it and it's quite corroded on the inside now too.

Ha, thank you! No itching yet 😁 the second skin stuff had mostly peeled off this morning so I removed it completely and it look fine now, no redness or anything. Hopefully that's it! To be fair, it's just a simple line drawing, nothing complicated, and I always heal quickly from cuts. Fingers crossed!
Thanks for the microwave enthusiasm 😂 I confess I have mixed feelings. I am of course delighted that we have one for just £10, but it does rather undermine my impatience in wanting to have it sorted out several weeks ago 🙄😂
Bit of a spendy day but productive. Up early for Slimming World - put on 1.5lbs which was to be expected after yesterday's cake fest and the stress of the week. Nipped into town for a couple of errands and then dropped the microwave and a load of glass bottles at the tip. While I was there I remembered I'd been driving round a bag of clothes for the charity shop, so I dropped them in the clothes bank too (no mean feat - they were in the boot of the little 3 door car, and the boot no longer opens 😂 had to clamber into the back seat and lean over, and it was quite difficult ultimately to get back out of the front again 😂)
Picked up Mr C and we had a nice egg butty in one of our favourite cafes, then a charity shop amble 😊
Home now, and while I'd like to get some more mulching done, it's freezing and windy out there, and while the sun is shining right now, it's intermittently being replaced by flurries of hail… So for now I am staying cosy on the sofa with a book 😂

Wise move to stay inside with a book - it's cold down here, can imagine it's even chillier with you! Definitely an impressive effort to get rid of the clothes from the boot - but I bet it's satisfying to have got it done.
