I wouldn't be surprised - the parsnips were a pack of 4 speciality ones that had been reduced to £1.94 😱😱😱
Happy April all! Did you get caught out by any April Fools? I saw a cheerful one about a mountain rescue team training a search & rescue cat 😂😂 but not til the afternoon 😂
Worked at home again today, Mr C went out to a band practice. I nipped out this evening to a local history event - really interesting talk about the restoration of a local tourist attraction. Excellent fun (and excellent cake 😂).

I saw the search and rescue cat too Cheery. And the drone. And a farm feed delivery helicopter. Also oat milk for calves which resulted in a discussion about whether vegan calves could be considered suitable for vegans to eat…

A friend used AI to amend a photo of herself with her hair changed into all kinds of strong wild colours which she put up with a comment about fancying a change … 😉

I've just seen Gardeners' World's post from yesterday with Ned planting bouncy balls ;)

🥰 were they going to grow into a space hopper? 🥰😂
Nothing spent today, although I probably should have got diesel on the way home from work 😬 Had in my head I've got a voucher for nectar points that I'd use at the weekend, but was forgetting about the world and that it might be better to have more than 40 miles worth of diesel (especially when you live several miles from the nearest garage 😂). Hey ho, too late now.
Did another 30 mins cleaning podcast, and I've decided I'm going to try to stick to doing that every day for the whole of April. Let's see how it goes! I'll aim for 30 mins - the odd day i might do a shorter one. Not making specific plans about what to do. Today I made the bed for tomorrow's visitors, changed the sheets on our bed, and put a pile of clothes away. We also took the bins out.
Tomorrow will need a bit more- if the weather holds i might even mow the grass, it's definitely growing...

I think he was planning on growing a nice crop of more bouncy balls :)
I've now seen Norfolk Libraries are introducing cats to their staff. Dog people are being relocated to Suffolk libraries.
Good luck with the grass. It's wet here, so I have indoor stuff to do. Theoretically cleaning and tidying and cooking and laundry. But it may turn into lying on the sofa reading.

I vote for lying on the sofa reading.
