Ha, yes indeed! I don't really like to have Christmas tree and daffodils overlapping 😂 and we've had daffs on the table for a week or so now 😬😂
Nice cafe lunch out with some friends, and a bit of a walk and a chat 😊 Mr C is worn out after last night's shenanigans and has gone for a nap. I'm pretty tired myself but I'm going to get changed and get mulching while there's still a bit of daylight. Aiming for at least 2 barrows, maybe even 3... 😁

Two barrows done, so that's 11 now! Stopping now, between this and all the cleaning this morning, and walking for 1.5 hours with our pals earlier I'm a bit worn out! The owls are waking up in the garden confiers 😊😊 Although they were also shouting at 10.30 this morning so I'm not sure it says much 😂
Bit of spending in the treats budget today. £17 for lunch for the two of us, then £9 for a cuppa and cake, and we parked both cars for 2 hours, then added another 2 hours, so that's about £11 ish.
right, tea, and I'm not too hungry after lunch so it might just be cereal 😬

Our owls have been very shouty today too, at around 5pm I could have sworn they were in the living room they were so close. We have barn and tawny here so it’s quite a racket some nights (I do love hearing them though)

OoOoh @jellytots that's lovely 🥰 we have a resident tawny family in the garden who shout at me when I'm pegging the washing out, and who are an endless source of owl pellets for curious visiting children. Barn owls live in a barn near the end of our drive - not our barn, but they're regularly swooping over our fields 🥰

Ha, thank you! Although I confess that ok the ground it absolutely doesn't look like 34% 😬 A decent wodge though - there's another row at the other side too that you can't see in this pic.

Oh, and I was going to say, I really didn't feel like it but I had a bit of a food prep session last night as I realised I'm going to be out quite a bit this week. Just made leek & mushroom pasta, and some crustless quiche things, but it means I now have breakfast, lunch & dinner for today, and lunch for Tuesday and Wednesday as well.
In the office today - mr C is going to see his dad, then he's got a gig tonight which I'll go to, so not home til about 11.
Back in the office tomorrow - car's got a quick brake tuning at the garage first thing, then I'm staying overnight with a friend.
In the office again Wednesday with an early start, then got an activity in the evening too.
BBut at least I now don't have to worry about food! Although it did just occur to me I didn't sort Wednesday tea 😬 might grab stuff for a sandwich tonight and take it to work tomorrow.
Hard work all this planning food, isn't it??
