Any Energy Providers which dont enforce smart meter

What would be the purpose of it?
Smart not smart, you can still send your readings manually if that's what you wish?
Not liking that little device in the kitchen (IHD)? It is just a gadget - you can unplug it and then the meter runs like any other really, you can manually submit your readings.

Does anyone know of any supplier I could move to that would enable me to have the Smart meter put into Dumb Mode? I have emailed EON and OVO.0

Mauldor said:QrizB said:No, there are none.Ofgem requires that smart meters be installed, and (if smart) remain that way. With the adoption of the SMETS1 meters into the DCC the possibility for a supplier to not support your meter pretty much ended. If your meter cannot be adopted then your supplier is obliged to replace it with a new SMETS2 meter...

Unfortunately, as a supplier do not accompany the "dumb mode" with our smart meters.
We're required by our energy license to take all reasonable steps to ensure that any replacement energy meter is a smart meter. Under this government programme and per OFGEM regulations, we must aim to install smart metering equipment in every home in Great Britain - including electricity & gas meters, an in-home display, and a communications hub.Smart meters also help with balancing the grid, which reduces the need for 'dirty' energy from fossil fuels, and helps with preparing renewable energy for peak periods with higher consumption.
We can offer to address any concerns they may have about smart meters. The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) published a study in the peer-reviewed journal of Bioelectromagnetics - Part 1, Part 2, and Part 3.
The results confirm UKHSA's existing advice that exposure to radio waves from smart meters is well below the guidelines set by the International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection (ICNIRP). The study also concluded that exposure to the radio waves produced by smart meters is likely to be much lower than that from other everyday devices such as mobile phones and wifi equipment, so if they're concerned about smart meters, they could have this same concern for WiFi routers and extenders.
If this is still not acceptable to you then unfortunately we are out of options, as a supplier we do not offer the "dumb mode" for smart meters. Although we may not support this, there may be other suppliers that may have this offer.

Mauldor said:You also failed to read they sent me a bill with Estimated readings - so they took a wild guess did they not? This was probably to meet their legal obligation to bill you within six weeks of leaving. The reading used at handover is supplied to your old supplier (BG) by your new supplier (SO) via the mysterious third party, who validates it. If this process is delayed, your old supplier has to decide whether to give you an interim bill with an estimated reading or whether to pay you the compensation for a late bill.Mauldor said:thank god that I did not take the advice and used the readings I took.

Wow - Octupus want to ensure even their non-customers have smart meters!
