If you know the person you are corresponding with it should be "Yours sincerely" otherwise "Yours faithfully".

I think I remember having it beaten into me at school in the days when corporal punishment was allowed.  :o

No that's reading fine, except you could change that last sentence:

If you fail to cancel this PCN within 14 days, I will be reporting you to the BPA.

    Yours faithfully,

    my name

...and obviously the end bit & your name doesn't go on the same line (as you showed it).  Everyone - new posters included - has received letters so we all know what the signature on a letter looks like.  They end as shown above, with line gaps.

Yours faithfully is the correct salutation tallying with Dear Sir/Madam (we used to be taught this in school in my day).

    Thank you.
I will change the end sentence to say what you have suggested (this is a great sentence, thanks), then send it to Carparkers.
And of course, I do know the signature has the lines between. I was just writing in this post and so wasn't following the correct format. But thanks for checking.

I'll email this with your added suggestion, and see what they say...

They took over a week, but emailed back saying they need more info like my reg and the form number. So I'll email back with this info. Meanwhile, I received another reminder in the post this morning! Saying further action could be taken such as the instruction of solicitor/debt recovery agents etc. Oh, and also says POPLA is no longer available.

I'll send the details they've asked for and see what they say.

In my original email on 12th April, I'd said if they don't cancel the charge within 14 days I will be reporting then to BPA.
How does this now stand with my next email?
Technically 14 days from 12th is today, but do I need to say again that now they have the details they've requested, they now have 14 days from todays date?
    Thanks for any advice.

You can only report them to the BPA once you have exhausted the complaint with the PPC.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

    Hi, next step help please....
I followed your guidance and appealed the parking notice. I have had 2 more reminders through the post, but no response to my appeal. So under your suggestion I emailed and said if they don't cancel within 14 days I'll report them to bpa.
They asked for my pcn number. I sent it to them, and they emailed me back yesterday saying they did respond to the appeal. They said:

    Good morning

The appeal was responded to on 20/03/2024

For your records attached is a copy of the Appeal response along with a screenshot of assigned documents showing timeline and delivery methods

As a gesture of goodwill we have extended the offer to pay the reduced amount for a further 7 days from the date of this letter

    Kind regards
    Carparkers

Please see photos attached of the attachments in their email.

I have gone through my 'inbox', my 'other' and my 'junk', and I can see no email from them. Very strange.
What would you suggest my next step is please? I believe my choices are to either pay the 'reduced rate' of £60, or appeal to POPLA? If I even still can...

Thank you for any advice given.

    Dear Carparkers,

    No you didn't.

It's no good showing me a purported rejection letter and some 'PCN history' notes which were added to the ZatPark system by someone at some point in time.

Show me the sent email with headers and a screenshot of it showing in sequential date order in your sent emails.

You may redact the subject lines of those around it.

If you can't manage that, just get lost and look for lower hanging fruit than me.  I wasn't born yesterday and will be happy to see you in court.  The case is disputed and you can't add DRA costs nor pass my data to a third party, because it is a disputed debt.

Crack on straight to litigation with no extortionate add-ons, if you think you have a case but I am formally asking for this evidence which you must supply within 30 days, in accordance with the PAP for debt claims.  Perhaps your Manager needs to read it.

    yours faithfully
Oh this is great, thank you!!
If it was you sending this, would you literally send it word for word??
Or was using 'just get lost and look for lower hanging fruit than me' just a bit of humour..??

If it were me, the regulars know I would indeed send that, word for word.

This rogue industry has blocked the Government from regulating them. Until they stop squealing like pigs and ripping good people off, they deserve a level of contempt.

OK, thank you. I will send this, and see what they say. Just hope they don't send back the evidence of the sent box as we have asked! I've looked back through my emails and definitely can't see one from them.
So frustrating all of this for the sake of 13 minutes over the time, due to a 2 year that vomited everywhere 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️
