Thanks for all the advice in this forum. I received a parking charge notice for Sea Palling car park with only timed photographs of our car entering and leaving the carpark. I knew we had bought a ticket and returned within the ticket time.I appealed asking what the parking charge was for and asking for evidence from the parking ticket machine? They replied showing that I only bought a ticket for one hour, not the two hours I thought I had bought. Although I put cash in the machine I obviously did not press the correct button to get a 2 hour ticket.I therefore have paid the fine, but feel much better after contesting it!0

Hi. Hope its ok to add to this? I've recently had a NCP fine. It was dark at the time of parking I was looking where to pay, found paybyphone so paid online. Two weeks later I had a fine by NCP, so I appealed because I paid. Apparently they're 2 different operators so I paid for the wrong one and the fine still stands. I. So annoyed, the signs were not clear. If I ignore are they likely to take me to court? Thanks in advance0

You've jumped on an old thread from last year; best thing to do is to star your own thread with some details of car park and the incident, then you will get bespoke advice; it is confusing to answer more than one poster on the same thread.2
