Morning all
DD is snuggled in next to me, she really feels awful, so she has a hot water bottle and seems to be nodding back off.I’ve lit the fire and had my first cuppa, it’s definitely a two brew morning. There is laundry to put away, hoovering to do etc but whether I’ll do it is another matter! I need to have some actual downtime before back to paid stuff on Monday. This week has been exhausting TBH.
Have fab days all xx7 -
morning all
no machines run…not enough to put in them.
Out for lunch with mum and sis as it’s sis’s birthday on Sunday. Might pop and get her some flowers.
Great night out with refinery colleagues, great pub. only drawback (for me) was the menu…pizza, nachos and sides night. i’m not a huge pizza fan but actually advantageous as it stops me eating too much, after some discussion we ordered 4 pizzas (between 7) and sides.
i shall change my bed today and do some admin. and s&s kitchen if i don’t actually clean it
Hope you all have good daysDon't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Hi gang, hope you are all well. So sorry haven' been on here recently but I think my depressive mood, a small bipolar blip and my hiatus from social media kind of sneaked over to looking at the internet and my bookmarks on here... Apart from popping the lists on here and maybe a post of two on here I've been very quiet everywhere, but I think it's time for me to resurface and say hello to the world again, and yes that does mean FB etc... Although I may not be on there as much as I was beforehand, mainly because I've actually liked not having the drama and having to scroll through so many posts on FB etc... (except MSE that is.._) I also seem to have been a bit preoccupied with my new car since it arrived...lol
I wish I could've said I had done a lot of flying while being away from everything but well I would be lying..I think I've put the duster around maybe twice, although between DH and myself we do the hoovering every day, maybe twice, due to the pup destuffing his toys and just causing chaos. Also the older dog has suddenly discovered he actually likes living here and having pup as a baby brother, so they play together and see who can mess up the room the most...lol Also the washing has been piling up and that is totally not me at all, you all know I am fanatical about doing the washing...it's the ironing that I normally have piles of not dirty laundry.
So without further ado today I plan to do the following:- Hoovering again!!!!!
- Washing
- Sort out washing into new laundry bins upstairs (at least I'll be able to separate my washing from the household washing now)
- Put throws back on the sofas and chairs, properly and dog proofed..
- Damp dust through house, focus on living room.
- Find something for lunch
- Sort out the dining room table that has now become a major dumping ground for gibble.
- Walk pup (DH walks the older dog!)
- Pop to Borth for meds, and Aber for library books.
I think that's enough to keep me going, plus it doesn't seem too overwhelming

Morning all,
My list for today
Get dressed
Feed animals
Attend uni classes
Revise for my upcoming uni exam.
Check and water the plants
Clean the TV
Hoover downstairs
Dust the living room
Speak to DH regarding getting an air fryer, I can't decide if it would be a good investment or just another gadget
Speak to DH regarding painting the ceiling in the bedroom
Speak to DH regarding decorating the bathroom.
I think that is everything that I need to tackle today. Hope everyone as a lovely Friday.

Natty, you haven't mentioned that you have decluttered all your packing boxes from the spare room (I spotted your post on MrsSD's thread) - that in itself is a major achievement, of which you should be very proud
You know that flying is going to be much easier in a decluttered space!
ASB, I hope you and your DC will start to feel better very soon. Please try to rest up this weekend: you are already running on empty, and that's worrying me.
Glad you had a great night out, ValliHow did the aged p's get on at the day centre?
We actually have sunshine tis morning, although it was so cold at 7am that I had to wipe condensation off the upstairs windows. Oh well, that's halfway to cleaning them!
Other achievements so far:
- did finance check, cancelled a DD which has now run its course (and I'm not renewing), and paid L the dog walker for this week;
- set up the new budget sheet for March, with provisional figures;
- spoke to DS1 (he rang me) about arrangements for tomorrow and the little jobs that I've got lined up for him to do;
- have done WMx1 and moved it to the TD;
- have eaten breakfast and S&S'd kitchen;
- did 5min PUPA around the house.
Other things to do today:
- shower and dress
- S&S bathroom
- take recycling out
- send list of jobs to DS1
- send an email re Tuesday's Flymeet
- more sorting in my study
- remind L that we're away on Monday
- do an early lunch (bacon sandwiches)
- go to Action Heart and do some proper exercise; and now that my free year is up, have a short induction before moving across to Health Club
- get home by 3pm to take a phonecall from the eye horse piddle
- make cakes and scones
- cook and eat tea
- send DH to his wargames, then sneak off to eat scones with K
Hopefully that is all
Keep smiling - it's Friday! xxx

MorningSun here as well, makes a big change after a full day of heavy rain yesterday.Kitchen is doneCarpet scrubbed where needed after cat 2 threw up and some ungodly hour . Cat 2 seems fine and is currently chasing around in the garden with the other 2 cats, as they spent at least 95% of yesterday asleep due to the rain.I've been out on the paving the grasss is like a big sponge at the moment, I've redone 15 large pots, (hostas, roses, herbs) plus 4 small plants from the conservatory, it was nice to be out inthe sun, doing something I consider useful.Doggy walking in a bit for NND, and I'll see how much the puppy has grown over the week.Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Afternoon all
It's Friday, hurrah !Finally Friday- those frightening kids rooms and spare rooms
Level One...
Vacuum the floor, even if it's just where you can see
Level Two...
Strip beds, turn and vacuum mattresses!! and replace with fresh linen .. check if duvets & pillows need freshening up too!! - Bought 2 new pillows for DD's bed and finally chucked out 4 which were way, way, way past their best
Extra Task List- Wash a set of curtains,
nets, duvet or throw - Sofa blanket has just gone in the wash, I'm hoping there's enough wind this afternoon to give it a good blow through and some of the cat hairs shaken off!
Also:
2 x WM and on line
1 x DW and put awayHoovered throughoutDesk cleared and sewing machine has been gotten back out ... I have several outstanding things I want to get done, so I think I need to add them to a list ! (shorten trousers / finish cushion cover / make replacement chair cover to protect from cat claws .. to name but 3).

Well, so much for the good intentions I had to contribute this week. Thank you for your kind thoughts but once again I haven't been able to keep up because while I got some answers from the people I saw on Monday and that's helped, I have had three days of not being able to do very much again. I felt a lot better today and dogwalked around the Citadel, and then made the mistake of popping down to the Co-op for some chicken slices for her daily meds where, unfortunately, they had quite a lot of whoopsied broccolli and some whoopsied blue cheese so that was the rest of the morning dealt with making soup - which was rather lovely for lunch and we've got a few boxes of it to go in the freezer, plus I used up the sprouting potatoes to thicken it, but I didn't really need the extra to do.Plymouth is once again in the news and I hope today's move goes smoothly and successfully. Strange that our newish neighbour, who is a bomb disposal expert, is actually in Ukraine this week. Probably safer there than the stuff they're working on here though.Flying-wise, I've been keeping up with the house in a slapdash kind of slatternly way, flashing the cordless thingy around before the carpets get too grim, and managed to get all the laundry washed on Sunday dry, which is amazing considering how much it's been raining.Better is good enough.8
