Sleeve 2 knitted and it matches sleeve 1 so that's good.
CoG - I haven't imagined you as so tall!

Hi all
Still a bit undecided about what to do about the annoying work colleague but I am off work for a week now so time to think about it.
Have dusted and hoovered LR, took some stuff to the recycling centre, helped DH with some paperwork, done some ironing and gave the kitchen a proper clean.
Won't be late to bed.5 -
Cloth_of_Gold said:A story about Harrods. My mother always used Burdall's gravy salt when making gravy or mince or anything like that but when I came to London I couldn't find it in any of the supermarkets here. I finally found it, incredibly, in Harrod's food hall - at about 3 times the price in Hull! I didn't buy any though but bought it when I went home or sometimes my mother would post it to me. You can't buy it now.
Whilst I'm sitting and procrastinating about something else, I looked up Burdall's and found this, no idea if it's of any use, but here ya go:

It was mainly to use a free hotel night I had mounted up through using one particular booking agency several times..and inspired by my big birthday present from Mr N last year (2 nights in a London hotel and 2 shows). Even though it doesn't take us long to get to London for the day, it was so nice to be more leisurely and not have to be thinking of last trains etc that we thought we would repeat it. Not such an expensive hotel though, just a 2star next to a bus stop opposite Hyde Park. We've booked 2 shows and plan to do lots of free stuff like enjoying spring flowers in the park (I wanted to go to Dutch bulb fields but, having priced some trips, decided against it). Last year I had a swim at the Royal Docks so hopefully I'll get a chance to do that again.Cloth_of_Gold said:Narco - I will definitely wave back. daffs were just starting to come out and the crocuses were well out. Have you been to Holland Park? That's really nice and if you're on the Bayswater Road side of Hyde Park it's a 15 minute bus ride on the 94 or 148 buses.
