Nothing has changed on my dashboard, it's still showing next top-up due date, so maybe they're phasing it in for existing customers. There's nowhere that tells me when my 90 days starts/ends. Have other peoples' dashboard changed? What does it show?
The 90 day period showed near the top right of my dashboard.
It disappeared after I made a query about it ???

The whole premise of being called "1p mobile" with 1p/min calls is pretty much lost if it's actually cheaper to be on the £36/year unlimited tariff than pay as you go at 1p a minute, as that will cost a minimum of £40/year. RWG may be a better PAYG option for some low users.
Do people still use lots of calls/texts? Nearly all our friends/family are on WhatApp so we use that for calls and messages, actual phone calls or texts are quite rare and are for stuff like calling banks, companies etc which are infrequent and usually short calls. Never get to anywhere near 200 mins a month.
(a) 25GB £10 boost (hardly use mins/texts)
(b) PAYG
Ended-up @ 1pm as both prev operators had lousy signals + one had an iffy disconnection policy.2 -

Interesting that the £3 1GB data boost which I usually buy could mean only £9 spend every 90 days and then I presumably wouldn't be a "pure PAYG" customer so not subject to the £10 min charge??Spotted on an online review:-Beware when you top up next, as the following T&Cs were changed. You will now need to read the FULL T&Cs every time you top up in case they make any further changes.Hi,
By topping up £10 you are converted to new terms and conditions, with the recent change of the terms and conditions we now have a minimum spend of £10 over a period of 90 days or we will deduct the shot fall then the 90 days will re set,
the dates shown on your online account is the 90 day period not a top up date, with the new terms we no long have a top up due date.
The terms and conditions had been agreed when applying your top up

I have just had an e-mail telling me about the new top up rules.
"however, due to you adding your last top-up under the old conditions we thought it only fair to delay implementing these changes for you until your next top-up due date on 12 April 2024.
I will to up a day or 2 early and then my 90 day period starts.
Quite scary to think my number would be disconnected if my balance was too low for 1p to take the shortfall.
Over the last couple of years I seem to use between £5 and £9 in 120 days.
I was thinking of topping up £10 every 80 days to be on the safe side so there should be enough for the shortfall.
As long as 1p keep me informed by e-mail I will try to keep the number connected.0 -

But if you have automatic top-ups enabled on your account, then wouldn't that ensure that you could never be disconnected?1 -

Revenue stream enhancement by invoking number loss anxiety..?

For instance if your period starts 12 April then the "shortfall" payment will be taken on 11 July so you just need to make sure you've topped up £10 sometime in that period. Doesn't matter when. So if you start in the middle of the period it gives you lots of leeway (about 45 days) if you're late.
Other thing is to make sure your balance doesn't fall to zero, that's probably the more likely reason to lose the number. Eg you go abroad to a country with big roaming charges and don't realise you're using data because you thought you were on wifi, use up all your credit, and can't top up in the next 10 days because you're abroad and can't access your account...

Can't you just set auto topup so they top you up by £10 when your balance gets down to £2?2
