I can't see that working, the T&C state you must put 1250 into your account for 24 hours minimum, the way you are doing it means at no time will you actually have 1250 in your account for the 24 hour period.Tinytic said:Hi please can somebody help I have opened the RBS account and my switch completes on Thursday. Does the 1250 have to stay in all at once? Or could I put 600 in then withdraw after 24 hours, then put 650 in and leave for 24 hours? So the 1250 wouldn’t be in altogether at the same time? Hope that makes sense Thanks for any helpI choose the rooms that I live in with care,
The windows are small and the walls almost bare,
There's only one bed and there's only one prayer;
I listen all night for your step on the stair.1 -
This is the case with Chase. Once my first account has been set up, it was possible to create additional ones off that main account within the app, sort code and account numbers created instantly and no cards associated with themPonchos said:I remember Barclays having a feature in app to open a second account (or presuambly as many as you wanted), and when I used this I had a new account opened in about 30 seconds. It seems TSB and First Direct (and I imagine other banks) don't have this feature (if they do then please point me in the right direction) so I'm thinking that Chase may be the way to go as it seems they do have this simple option of opening another account without going through the whole application process over and over again.
Just to confirm that this is actually the case, that multiple account can be opened quickly rather than needing to apply the long way? Also that these extra accounts after the fist don't require you to wait for a debit card and online banking details, they essentially feed of the first account? Thanks.1 -
Yes, that's fine. You could even put £25 in every day for 50 days! Just make sure each deposit remains in the account for at least 24 hours.Tinytic said:Hi please can somebody help I have opened the RBS account and my switch completes on Thursday. Thank you both for the replies! I will give it a go and if it doesn’t work, I can wait until payday and I will have 1250 in there for more than 24 hours before my bills go out.0

Danny's spot on -- here are the relevant points in the (RBS) switch terms and conditions ...
• The £1,250 can be made of multiple payments into your eligible account.
• For a payment to be counted towards the £1,250, the funds must remain in the account for a period of 24 hours

What was the gap between your first two switching and the last? I'm delaying putting the £1250s in till I can do all 3 at once but waiting patiently is not my strength!Archerychick said:Two out of three bonuses received so far - Ulster is my last one but that only switched yesterday so wouldn’t expect that for a couple more days yet!0 -
5 working days. NatWest was 27th Feb, RBS was 1st March and Ulster 4th March.Bazzalona13295 said:

I haven’t waited because I can’t see any evidence that their systems are linked otherwise they wouldn’t be paying out the incentives cross the group. I didn’t pay money into Ulster until 4th March, which is the same day I got my £200 from NatWest2 -
TSB allow you to open multiple accounts, you have to apply as you would if you are a new customer though, which will create a new online banking profile. Some ``IT wizardry" at their end then merges your profiles within 7 working days or however long it is so you have both accounts showing in both profiles (at least that's how it's meant to work in theory). Note opening a new current account with TSB will result in a hard search even as an existing customer.Ponchos said:I remember Barclays having a feature in app to open a second account (or presuambly as many as you wanted), and when I used this I had a new account opened in about 30 seconds. I have an account at NatWest. Well, they aren't that bad. Just be careful using their credit/debit cards abroad if you are a frequent traveler. Had some issues with that in the past.
But this one seems like a good offer.

There is an option of adding your travel plans on the app somewhere. I’ve done it before. I have the Royal Bank credit card which doesn’t charge fees abroad and I’ve used it many times.AnnikaJuarez said:I have an account at NatWest. Well, they aren't that bad.
