After seeing success on this thread I'm going to have a go at the hattrick myself. Once I've got my three spare accounts (planning on opening two extra accounts with TSB and one with First Direct as I'm already with them both), made the three transfers and had the new accounts all successfully opened, my question is, is it better to put 3x £1250 in to each new account simultaneously, or can I use one "lot" of £1250 to put into New Account A, then B, then C (after letting it sit for 24+ hours of course), or doesnt it make a difference? TIA0

It doesn't make any difference.Ponchos said:is it better to put 3x £1250 in to each new account simultaneously, or can I use one "lot" of £1250 to put into New Account A, then B, then C (after letting it sit for 24+ hours of course), or doesnt it make a difference? TIA1 -

Think I did my rbs payment an hour before I got the text to say the switch had completed, it was the day after the old account closed though, do I really have to wait for that text to come before sending the 1250? Left it in all weekend too0

The terms are unclear. They just say "within 60 days of switching to your eligible account". It's not clear whether it's within 60 days of switch starting or completing. I don't think it makes any difference. You can always put in the £1,250 before the switch completes, see if you get the bonus 2 working days after it completes, and if not put it in again after the switch completes.bigstevex said:do I really have to wait for that text to come before sending the 1250?1 -
I think it's perfectly clear that until the switch has completed, you haven't actually switched in relation to the offer.danny13579 said:

I would always err on the side of caution and wait until the bank that will be paying you the bonus tells you the switch has completed, before undertaking any additional requirements there may be.0 -
The wording is very clear, 59 days after completed switch and 59 days before the completed switch are both within 60 days of the completed switch.harz99 said:

It might not be what they meant but they would have to be clear if they just meant 60 days after.
Let's Be Careful Out There1 -
That's not clear to me at all.harz99 said:

Sorry if this has already been covered..
Is it possible to get away with applying at more than one of the banks and getting the bonus?
I've got a switch going through to an existing Natwest Account, and wondering if it's worthwhile to also attempt it with one of the others?0
