Did anyone who applied for ulster not have to submit id ?
They asked me for photo id which I still haven't uploaded but now have an account up and running and a welcome pack/letter. Card/pin activation code all received plus my switch completed today.
They've asked numerous times to upload id but I can't, no photo id available. I did have a letter to sign and return though which took a few days, after that I got all my welcome pack through. So guessing that sufficed, well I hope so, if not why give me an account and let me switch?
Now waiting for the incentive but only paid in the £1250 today.

Out of interest, does anyone know what time of day Ulster usually pays the bonus?
Incidentally I'm going for, and succeeding so far with the "double triple" (NatWest, RBS and, Ulster for myself and my wife).
So far we've got 2 x £200 from NatWest, 1 x £200 from RBS with the remaining being paid in the next day or so. Switches (all 6 were Chase burner accounts) completed last week, all accounts had £1250 in them for 25(ish) hours and we've used the app for each account.

I've just had the email/text from Natwest with customer number. When I go to login to online banking it asks for PIN and P/W but not set that up yet. Do they provide temp ones or something?

Actually maybe it's because I have one already from years ago, nevrmind will have to reset
  • I have done 3 switches for 3 members of my family - 1 each, not 9 in total!

The first completed last Weds. The others completed last Thurs.  I put £1250 into each on Thurs.  Took the money back out on Sat.  One of the Thurs completers (NatWest) has paid out today.  The other 2 haven’t, including the one which completed the day before.  One is a NatWest and one an RBS.

Just a bit surprised it’s not happening fully chronologically as expected.  I have no reason to expect the others won’t pay out…but I thought they would all be today.  I suppose there are a few more hours to go.

They asked for it by sending me a letter and said my account wouldn’t be set up until they’d process it but by which time they had set up my account without it 🤷‍♀️

Received my £200 bonus from NW at approx midday today, switch date was last Thurs 29th. The £1250 was in my account for 25 hours before I moved it back out last Friday.

Applied to Ulster bank as a new customer on Saturday morning. Haven't heard back anything whatsoever. Is this normal, or should I try reaching them?

Completely normal, they are a little slow! It’ll be a couple of days I’d expect before you have anything from them

I received confirmation by text this morning that my Ulster Bank account was open (following checks which I completed on Thursday last week - Passport / Photo).  I was offered a switch date during my application, however can't remember whether it was the 11th March or the 18th March.  Will keep everyone updated on my progress!
