I’m wondering if you can pay in the 1250 in portions, say 650 for a day take it out and 600 for a day?Anyone done that or similar?I’m trying to convince a friend to do a switch too.0

The 1250 has to stay in for 24 hours.superdayold said:I’m wondering if you can pay in the 1250 in portions, say 650 for a day take it out and 600 for a day?Anyone done that or similar?I’m trying to convince a friend to do a switch too.0 -
Officially from NatWest:
Yes, the £200 will be paid within 7 calendar days of all the criteria been met, which would also include weekends.
Just letting everyone know
So if anyone gets their switch incentive today let’s everyone know the time etc so help us all out2 -

Counting of the 7 calendar days, or the actual days they will be making the payments. If the latter, then I am surprised that you haven't received your payment yet. I guess we'll get some further insight by the reports of people receiving the bonus, which have come thick and fast so far this week, but have been absent so far today.0 -
@Bridlington1 thank you for reminding people of your experience and the potential consequences of chasing every single penny that can be obtained by fair or foul means.
As you say "there's no need to rush to get them all at once"1 -
Who knows! Seems odd that I haven’t got mine yet! But hay ho did complete all the requirements so hopefully soon! So if 7 Calendar days from money going in 29th should be in by the 6thmasonic said:GTR_King said:Officially from NatWest:

I'm considering it (I guess someone has to be the first) as I already have a NatWest account from last year and a spare burner account, but am unsure yet as maybe I'm pushing my luck too much and it could backfire with a possible warning or ban.masonic said:Or having attempted it. Hopefully someone will give it a whirl. If you switch into an existing a/c that had received a bonus last year then I think it unlikely you'd get another bonus this time. This was my experience when I failed to get a bonus last year.If you had closed last year's a/c after getting the bonus and now switched into a new a/c then you'd have a better chance on getting a 2nd bonus. This was my wife's experience last year.0 -
If you met the requirements on 29th then it's generally 2 working days after that so Monday.GTR_King said:

I set up 2 Chase account burners and within minutes switched to NW and RBS, and have absolutely no qualms. If you're terrified, maybe that's an indication it's time for you to stop chasing switching bonuses.Dominic_Blake1 said:
Having just set up a Chase account, then within minutes switched to Ulster Bank, I’m kind of terrified!Bridlington1 said:
I think you'd be wise not to push your luck with RBS. Unless something's changed within the last year I suspect your efforts would be fruitless anyway.danny13579 said:
It's not not getting the incentive that concerns me, more a ban which would preclude me from any further switch offers. But then, it's going to be years before I become eligible for any again.bobeschism said:He who dares, Rodney
When LBG gave me a lifetime ban last year (I suspect using them for too many short lived donor accounts in a short space of time won't have helped matters) I switched many of my LBG accounts elsewhere just to make life easier in the event that a payment was ever made to any of them after the accounts were closed.
I had already received the £150 switching offer from RBS in 2022 but not bothered with NatWest/Ulster at that time. After accidentally getting £200 each from NatWest/Ulster I decided to try my luck with RBS as I still had LBG accounts I wanted to switch out. RBS never paid me the £200 if this is anything to go by.
