Received the £200 today from Natwest, switch date was 23rd, put the £1250 in Saturday morning 24th and withdrew Sunday morning, my last bonus was pre2020 with them so all went smoothly as expected.
Thanks, mine switched today, funds transferred, will withdraw Wednesday so so hopefully switch incentive(s) by Friday at the latest.

My switch completion is 28th! Can I transfer the money in 29th then back out 1st March? For the £200
  • Anyone had it without leaving in for 24hr?

Great to see that the offer applies to those who switched to one of the three last year. Is there risk of them later trying to claim to money back if you have had a bonus within the period stated and you get it again this time ?

Unless you really can't leave the £1250 in for 24 hours its something you have to do. 24 hours for £200 seems a good deal to me.

Waiting for my 2nd switch to complete and then doing the 2 lots of £1250 together, got to give it every chance imo.
  • is eveyone waiting until the day after the switch to pay the money in?
I was going to do it on the day.

There are 60 days following the switch to make an eligible transfer. You'll know after a week if what you tried didn't work, and would be free to try again. Experiment and report back.

The plot thickens with my application with Ulster.
Gave up at the point of them wanting photo id, as explained earlier I can't provide it, old style licence, no passport. They asked 3 times to upload them, I ignored them.
So over the last few days I get, please sign  this form and return we'll get your account number/sort code sent. I've also been sent a customer number and a, "welcome to Ulster Bank" your account is set up, and an activation code and is on its way. Your card and pin will follow shortly.🤔
Oh and by text this morning, your switch will complete by 27th February.
It's all going through without proof of photo id.
Hey, how long did your application take? I did my switch on the 22nd and the most recent email I had with Ulster was that they've processed my documents. I know it was the weekend so I might just being impatient lol
It's been 9 days since I initially applied for an account/switch with Ulster online. The application took place on a Saturday so get the weekend out of the way and I first heard from them last Tuesday via text wanting id via Hooyah. I didn't do the id thing on-line but then a letter arrived on the Wednesday to sign confirming my details. Moving on to today (Monday) obviously another weekend has passed and now I'm waiting for (in their text and email) account details, debit card + pin and an activation code for on-line/app banking. I already have a customer number and they've told me the account is set up.

Personally I'd wait until the receiving bank notifies you that the switch is complete, then do the money bit.
