Received the £200 today so you don't need to pay in the £1250 if you had that amount in your account when you switched. Hope that helps.Zopa_Trooper said:My switch took place on "pay day" so a large amount got transferred. I haven't received the incentive so I guess I wont until the next "pay day". I could fiddle about transferring money to and fro but I'm not that desperate for the £200.8 -
I had a text message from Ulster confirming they had started the switch, but no date as yetmrniceguy111 said:
Thanks! I just got an SMS from both Ulster and RBS about my debit card and it should arrive within 5 days. Did you received the "your switch has started" email for Ulster and RBS? Because I did not lol so I'm not sure if its actually happening or not.anoukis said:@mrniceguy111 I applied to Natwest on the 20th and to RBS and Ulster on the 21st. Switch date 1 Mar for all. Got the RBS and Ulster cards today, Natwest last week. It was quite fast all in all
Another one with Ulster, I did not received the email where I can find my customer number so I can't really login to its mobile banking.0 -
I bit the bullet and started a switch today for a Halifax one I had knocking around from a previous switch, done the verification process for RBS. Once switched I will bump £1250 in and will update if I get any cash or not. Previous switch was to NatWest in December 2019 - account is still held
Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

How long after the switch was it before the £200 was paid?Zopa_Trooper said:

UPDATE:
I just got text messages from both RBS and Ulster that my switch has started and was given a completion date of 5th March. Hopefully I'll get the £200 bonus for both!
Meanwhile, I have done all the requirements for my NatWest switch at 11am today, still no payout. Hopefully I'll get it tomorrow.0 -
I received my £200 today from RBS. Switch completed Friday 23rd.1

For example If I paid the £1250 in on the 29th & took it out on the 1st would I get payment Monday?

I'm a day behind you, but I'm going to wait until I receive the notification that the Switch has completed before I deposit the £1250. Hopefully that will be on the 29th as well.GTR_King said:28th Switch completes
29th Transfer money (Pay day)
1st Transfer money out
hopefully that will work for the switch offer
Further, I'm going to wait until the 2nd day after the deposit to withdraw it. This is to ensure that the withdrawal is counted as truly at least 24 hours after the deposit, which could possibly be uncertain if I withdrew it the day after it was deposited! Call me overcautious if you like but better safe than sorry!Compiler of the RS League Table.
