Hello please can someone advise. I'm going to go for the one where you dont need to have direct debits or a minimum amount every month etc.
My question is, do I have to have the app to qualify? Because my phone wont let me download any more apps. It's an old phone and doesnt have much storage.
I was going to switch away from first direct. Do u think that is a good idea?? Or should I try and set up a burner bank account. It's not my main account anyway, I only have first direct because of the previous cash incentive. Thank you.0 -
Sorry I've read the ts and cs and it does say I have to open the app to get the incentive.
Do u think it would be a mistake to get rid of first direct?0 -
Hi @22225 one of the conditions for qualifying for the incentive is to log into the app within 60 days of the switch. So yes, you will need to have the app to qualify.
If you go for this then it's up to you which account to switch. For me, I am conscious that if I switch an account that I've only recently opened, that bank might not be so keen to have me back in future.1 -
