  • Could someone who has applied for this offer today please assist.
I have a donor bank account which I haven't used for years but I can not remember if I have a debit card for the account.
During the switch application does it ask if you have a debit card on the donor account?
If so, what info does it require from the card. Expiry date? 16 digit number? 3 digit code?
    Thanks.
Just to answer my own question regarding the donor account, the application form says...

Was a debit card issued with this account? *
(Please note if you select 'No' and this is not the case your switch will be rejected)   Yes   No
If yes, please provide your debit card number

Yep, me too, repeatedly and on different browsers for Natwest. Wonder if it could be related to number of applicants?

Am I reading this correctly then that I can open 3 spare chase current accounts and do a switch to Natwest, Ulster and RBS at the same time using 1 of the accounts for each switch.
Then as long as I follow the rules on the switch, I’ll get 3 x £200 bonuses?
Quite a few of us got pay-outs from NW RBS and Ulster last year. It's Chase that might have issues with opening and switching multiple accounts. As mentioned above, use separate donors and you should be ok.
That’s good to hear so it’s definitely possible.   Which are the easiest to open as a donor?
Metro Monzo are best, as no hard search. You will need to wait for the debit card to arrive though. Chase, just open a second account, no need to use card details for this.
Metro can’t validate my address from my ID weirdly.  Monzo is opened fine, is there a third option for easy opening?
Chase bank you open one account then open more within the app easily then switch one out.
Im an ex employee RBS Group

  • I did the ID check then heard nothing and no accept or reject message on screen. Is this normal?

Update - finally managed to get through and complete the application form on the Natwest website.

I didn't do anything differently - so don't give up if you get this error message!

Perfect will get this sorted soon

    Sounds like an easy switch
  • This is marvellous. I switched my secondary Natwest current account out to Nationwide last November for the £200. I’m not a fan of Nationwide & haven’t really used the account. I’ll now switch it back into my existing main current account with Natwest for another £200!
I already get my salary paid into that account so I’m assuming that meets the requirement to pay in the £1250?
