DW locked and loaded, left over SC casserole in fridge. I realise, now i feel fine, that I actually felt quite unwell today, and took parrots and loperamide. So cleaning the LR and everything else i’ve done feels like quite an achievement. There was a lot of sitting and TV watching
I think i might get some quotes for my woodwork painting.
Havent got to the bottom of the extra payments i’ve been getting from the pensions people, i suspect it’s because my hours have dropped at work. There’s nothing on the website.
Soappie…nice idea …might not work though as i have cables into the shed and that would be the same area.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Took A to the GP and saw a really lovely locum. He requested a sample to be sent off for analysis re A's toe problem, and requested hip and shoulder x-rays - so a bit of progress. A's mobility is variable but often really bad now and he gets a lot of pain. It's a real worry. Tomorrow he has a blood test at the GP and hopefully they will take the sample from his toenail to send off as he struggled to get one himself and I was afraid of cutting his toe.I made pancakes for pud, which we enjoyed. A always used to do them and this is the first year he hasn't been able to.
After supper I washed up and did the evening eye routine and now it's time for bed. I was supposed to be going to bed early as I'm going to the 08.00 service tomorrow but here we are at 1/4 to midnight and I'm still not there. I'm all ready though so will go now.

Good morning 😁
Sorry I haven't been on, but I have been lurking. Whatever the flu/covid-not-covid bug is that is going around, it knocks you for six!
Busy week this week. Paid stuff. DD1 visiting with DGS. She & DD2 are taking my mum out for afternoon tea today, so I have DGS in addition to 3 other children (2 nearly 4 Yr olds and 2 under 2). Hopefully the little ones will nap 🤞 and it's only for an hour or so! I don't get much opportunity to have DGS to myself 🥰
Toddler group this morning with DD1 & DM, so that should be fun! DD1 & I have much to chat about as DD2 has recently given us some news 😉🤫
WM on. LR ready for small people. Activity table filled with heart shaped pasta and some toys around "emotions". That will need cleaning up later!!
Happy valentines day everyone 💗
Have a good day 😘8 -
Happy Valentine's Day everyone.I didn't get up early enough to go to the 8 o'clock Mass so will go to the 6 o'clock instead. After doing A's eye drops I tried to go out but it was a real struggle to open the front door. Eventually, after much pushing and shoving I managed it and discovered that there were four heavy sacks of mail outside, which was why I couldn't open it. They were filled with so many cards and gifts and flowers
it's going to take me weeks to go through it all.
And then I woke up....After recovering from my dream I took some rubbish down and popped out for a paper. We have to go out soon for A's blood test and, hopefully, the nail sample.

Hi folks
@Cloth_of_Gold I've noticed that more people go to church here than in my regular Internet social groups, which I always find interesting. Do you go often? Have you always had a strong faith? Please feel free to tell me to mind my own business!
@Narc0lepsy how awful about the cameraMr Flamingo is also an avid photographer and he'd be devastated. Great idea on the SD cards, will make sure to do this when we go to Munich in October. Can we see any of Mr N's pics? I bet they're lovely, and you must be glad to have him home

Sorry I've only been reading, not posting, for the past 24 hours. I slept all yesterday afternoon, didn't take Rosie out for her walk (she didn't want to go anyway because it was raining heavily), could hardly keep my eyes open in the evening, went to bed early, woke for an hour at 4.00 and had a cuppa but then went back to sleep until 8.40, and am feeling tired again now. Excessive tiredness often signals the onset of a migraine, which I'm hoping to avoid.
I've done the Flying dailies and decluttered some jobs that necessitated sitting at the computer. I'll take Rosie out now while it's not actually raining and sleep a bit more after a late lunch, as we are going out at about 5 to see Bizet's Carmen in the big city this evening. I'm cooking reheating our main meal for lunch - possibly with a belated pancake which I didn't have the energy to cook yesterday, but don't tell my vicar I said so! DH has promised a drink and a bite to eat in town. That's my Valentine
Hope those who celebrate have a lovely day, and those who don't, still feel the Flylady love xxx8 -

I thought we had a secret celeb for a moment!
I am not feeling any better.. I MUST brave the bathroom and wash myself today.. I can't breathe in the steam though so I may need supervising.. I might be too tired to do anything but stand there.
Fed the girls, and me.. and did nothing else.. I will grab my knitting I think and do that. It's fairly plain for the yoke.
