    Today's £5 payment(s) are for last month's activity though.

Like others, my funding and DC payments on the 1st don't appear to have registered, so I've done again today just in case.

I know. It's been like this for years. If the transactions show in your account, you have made them. Doesn't matter what the tracker says.

My Reward tracker is still saying I am not on track for the reward - but the £5 has been paid to my (3x) accounts in the last hour.

Just because you've made them, doesn't mean you'll get paid. Well you likely will eventually, but it'll be after you've had to go out of your way to chase up & made a complaint about it.

You can apply the exact same logic to the Tracker so I don’t know what point you are trying to make.

I have had dozens and dozens of payments, none has ever been missing. I am therefore happy to say that if you meet the requirements, Halifax will reliably pay you, regardless of what the Tracker says

Well not really if the payment system is linked to the tracker, and if ones broke.....

Doesn't quite work the other way round. If they pay you by mistake then you're not going to complain about it.

I've had these reward accounts from pretty much when they started & haven't missed a payment yet either, but I don't recall a time when it didn't track. There was an issue last year, but Halifax fixed in time.

There are however, many on here who will tell you that despite meeting the requirements, they didn't get paid when there was a tracking fault. Then had to chase it up.

I went into a branch today.  They had no idea.

I tried the chat on Sunday.  Bot didn't understand the question and couldn't put me through to a human "colleague" but wrote that I should try again.

Today spent just short of an hour with a human (after waiting for 30 mins because the bot can't help but apparently humans are at work 24/7).  A complete waste of time.  Apparently the human was part of the "messaging team".  I'm not sure what that is - do they take messages?  But the human suggested I contact the "dedicated team" and provided a phone number.

In the discussion I was told that one of my DC transactions had been declined by Halifax.  As the amount was showing online and had not been refunded, I asked for more information.  It turned out the payment to another financial institution had not been declined but had simply been initially flagged as possible fraud by the "dedicated team" but subsequently cleared.  I thought it was simply a normal "pending" transaction rather than having been considered a potential fraudulent payment.

So I'm just going to wait and see what transpires re a June payment and pursue the matter if it is not paid.  [Should have decided on that to start with really.]

As long as you have the available ££s, just cycle the reward routine again - c.10 minutes in our 7 reward accounts.

Weird thing for me is tracker shows the £500.29 payment made on 5th May as counting towards the £1500 pay in as it says I’ve paid in that amount, but the £500 and £501 payments on 1st of May are not, and neither is the card payment of £500 made on 2nd May on track either. Weird that a payment made later has been added to the total , but not those at the earliest of the month. I wonder then if there is tracking issues very early in the month … makes no sense that a later payment is showing before earlier ones?!?

Reading comments further up, from now on I will leave it until the 4th or 5th of the Month from now on before doing all the requirements.  Til now I always did it on the 1st but it seems payments very early in the month are not tracking. It’s easier than doing it twice “just in case” which doing it at this point is annoying … the things we do for a fiver eh 😂
