Mine is the same. All activity that was taken on the 1st hasn’t tracked (£1500 in, £500 debit spend). 2 of my other accounts have the £500 spend tracked and these actions all occurred after the 1st.

i’m going to cycle the £1500 through again and do a further £500 debit card payment with the account this hasn’t tracked with, but clearly some issues with the tracking this month. I don’t really want to contact Halifax about it…

I'm in the third year of having this account. The tracker is often days behind. I always move money through on the first of the month (not showing for me yet this month) and pay out by debit card £500 on about the 14th. I've never not got the reward. In the first year I obsessed with the tracker but now I rarely look at it.
Being days behind is normal. What's not normal but has happened once before is that it hasn't picked up activity on certain days despite otherwise being up to date. And when that has happened in the past, the rewards weren't paid.

When did this happen, sorry? The only occurences I'm aware of where rewards haven't been paid but activity completed, it turned out the users in question had failed to renew their rewards in time for their activity to count.

That was an error with the tracker. There was no issue when it came to reward payout - there was some who claimed not to get it but it later transpired their 'reward extra' hadn't been renewed, so they weren't eligible for one.

If you read the thread in its entirety, there were plenty of people who didn't get the reward when they should've done and then eventually got the reward on 4th May.

I am the last contributor on said thread ;) the rewards were indeed paid, albeit late. I'm not at all convinced that was anything to do with the tracker.

The tracker wasn't tracking any activity beyond 14th March 2023 for that month. And the rewards weren't paid on time for the accounts which weren't tracking.

It seems clear to me that where the tracker doesn't track the activity when it is up to date, it is a software issue that leads to the system not paying the rewards until a fix is implemented.

It seems the first couple of days of May 2024 have the same issue.

Can't speak for everyone and whether it'll be the same this time given there seems to be only 2 affected days rather than half the month.

I know I missed out on £2 rewards on some accounts in May 2020 when the scheme changed for existing accounts but not new accounts until June 2020 and rewards had to be applied manually. They refused to apply mine when I rang on the basis "you can only receive rewards on 1 account" and I didn't complain over a tenner in missing rewards as I didn't want to draw attention to the 18 reward accounts I've got. Same goes this time.

That's interesting but not got a great deal to do with this situation. My wife also missed out on a couple of fivers because she missed the renewal invitation.

If you have paid in £1500, charged £500 to the debit card and kept the balance above zero, you will get your fiver regardless of what the tracker says. (I can't speak for what happens if you manage to open more than 3 Reward account tho.)

At or above zero. I keep mine at zero and get the rewards for each account
I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?
