Glad you have got your teeth sorted @uralmaid Hopefully after a few days they will start to feel more normal. My two front teeth are capped after a fall when a child involving a toilet seat and a money spider!!!!   I have had my current ones for 30 odd years, dread getting them changed.
Back today after rainy couple of days in Ambleside, weather didn’t stop us having a lovely time.
Will keep my fingers crossed for your trips that you have some sunshine.

Thanks @bluenose1. Boo to the rain in Ambleside but glad you still had a nice time. Keep everything crossed please - so sick of rain and having to wear jumpers. Have a nice weekend .

Hi @uralmaid hoping that things are settling down after your latest dental treatment.  I noticed that I have chipped a front tooth this week, but do not know how.  More expense...  Not long now until your holiday.  Surely this weather has got to improve by then.

Shame about the weather on your trip away @bluenose1, but pleased to read that you had a nice time regardless.  They do say that good weather in the Lakes is when the rain falls vertically rather than horizontally!

Thanks @Humboldt. Well the weekend away was mixed. The camp site was good. The weather was dire. Cold and a lot of rain.  The music festival was spoilt somewhat by the cold and rain - so not quite the chilled out event we were hoping for.  Got home today and now have to dry the awning out so it doesn't get mildew before we go away again next week.  Every day I check the weather and so far it has changed every day. Currently showing a  bit warmer temperatures but mixed rain and a bit of sun - so who knows.  Have a good week.

Got a line full of washing dry this morning so hopefully your awning has / is dry by now as we have rain forecast from 5 pm... that will make a change (not!)

Shame about the weekend, cold soggy weather does put a damper on things not only literally. Guess you were chilled out , or more exactly chilled to the bone.

Hope the trip next time has better weather.

Thanks @Katiehound.  We unpacked the awning as soon s we got home and hung it in the garage (luckily we have a large garage). We were definitely chilled to the bone.  Just been checking the forecast for next week in Whitby and more flippin rain on the way.

Morning @uralmaid, I am sure that you will still have an enjoyable holiday regardless of the weather. You can always checkout indoor activities if need be; local museums, visitor centres, independent shops, eateries, etc will no doubt be glad of the business.
