Had hoped for another NSD today, but ended up paying train fare for an upcoming trip and a contribution to a friend's 60th gift. Both were anticipated and budgeted for, but I'm still counting them as spends.#21 Save £12k in 2025 £24277.35/£200002

Good evening everyone. Happy to report I am 5/20 no spend days (forgot to report yesterday) with the only day I have spent any money is Saturday when I had my hair done. Working from home this week due to the train strikes and then working away the next 3 weeks which means as long as I don’t buy any chocolate I shouldn’t need to spend anything as work pays my expenses 😊 so far February is a good month for saving those pennies and pounds. Good luck everyone. We CAN do this 😉Aim to pay off £13,000 by December 2024

Had a spend day today. Needed dustbin bags so while I was spending gave grandson some money for his birthday.
Card was one I made with stuff from my stash though :-)
Still on 5/20.

Ah, we've all been there! The office temptation is real 😬 good on you for learning to pay with your phone though, it's super handy in a jam if your card is lost/stolen/sitting on the dresser at home/at the bottom of your bag beneath a squashed banana and some gym kit. FYI though, it's a right pain to use on the bus, the engine's vibration can mean you can't hold it still enough. Glad to see you're still planning to keep going with the challenge 👍HotDog2020 said:I don't think I am going to make 20 now! maybe 14 if I turn things around, I have spent today I found a way to pay using my phone and wanted to try it. I bought drink, cake and fish and chips, not good I know, but when I am in the office the temtation is greatest. I am in the office tomorrow and plan on buying my boss a drink. So will not add to the NSs tomorrow either.
