Thinking of you both, Sweetbriarrose and Ditty.
As I anticipated yesterday went pretty much to plan. Spent most of the day at the hospital and got nothing else done.
However, came back to a nice surprise when a box of get well goodies arrived from the Boy and his lovely girl.
And I've just redeemed £50 of survey money.
Really must try and get some things done today. xxxxHave adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.10 -

Condolences @Sweetbriarrose, sorry for your loss.@ditty1234 ((hugs)) I used to find teaching difficult / stressful at times too. Drives me mad to hear people go on about 'all those holidays'! Take care.9

Today I am grateful for my foot mending nicely, for pip having a good day at school, for my counsellor, for an amaaazing fight on Battlebots, for fish and chips for tea, for not glutenising myself yesterday.

Sweetbriarrose, sorry to hear about your mum. Surprised it'll took so long, given she was in a care home. That must have been hard. Hugs to you and your family.

Glad you've had a nice time @beanielou. Could you tell me what a sound bath is please?
Sending hugs @ditty1234. Could you do a phased return? Then you're not dealing with it all at once? It is hard when you've not been well & added pressure on top of that through work is even harder. Take a breath, & put yourself first. Us turtkes are here to prop you up.
Hope everything went ok at the hospital @Toni'sfriend, good you had a surprise to come home to 😃
One less thing to do this morning,as DH had boxed up some leftover chicken curry for me to take to work for my dinner 😋 Work very up & down today, tried to include some of the things I learned in yesterday's training, which helped with pupil concentration, but many more instances on a par with last week, which made me feel very uncomfortable. Thankfully I was in a different class this afternoon!
A breezy walk to the Coop after school, then sat on my phone a little while. After tea, I fixed a sleeping bag zip, so hopefully the customer will be happy & I won't have to put a whole, very long, zip in 🤞 Put a film on & started cutting out 2 memory bears.
Practiced Norwegian, now time to relax before bed!
Grateful for training things working well, a flaming red sunrise, a pretty moon on the way home (planet, not a person, @f0xh0les & @apple_muncher!!🤣), red licoriceUse it up, wear it out
Make do or do without!
If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours 😃

@Thrifty_Taylor. A sound bath is a guided meditation with lots of different sounds. From different bells and wee instruments. It was amazing. Highly recommend it if you ever get a chance to experience one 🤩I am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters. I think the nearest I have been to a sound bath was at the Monserrat Monastery when they were 'playing' all the bells. It was thunderous and reverberated through my body - it was wonderful!
