Next clothing is top quality, like others on here though i can't justify spending £17.00 on a pair of jeans for my seven year , so i wait for the sales and pick them up at half price. I do like it him to look trendy and i love the NEXT styles. I also buy him jeans in the next size up and put them away for him to grow into.0

I personally would rather pay full price than beat off crazy people to get a bargain and queue another hour or so to pay. I have only been to 1 Next sale at 6am years ago and vowed never again!
I popped in my local branch today and got my 6 month old daughter 2 tops and a pair of trousers, they had quite a lot left in her size so I was quite happy as I got a top I'd been looking at before christmas, saying that I could of lived if I didnt get one.
I dont understand why people say Next is rubbish, for kids clothes it is the affordable designer label (so to speak) my daughter has loads of gorgeous fashionable outfits from there, its not overpriced compared to other stores of the same quality.
I never buy any clothes from there just before christmas as the one thing that really annoys me is that thing they do where they write the sale price in an obvious so called secret code on the ticket a couple of days before and expect people to feel happy paying full price for it!0 -
I was obviously lucky as only queued for 5 mins to pay although i have read stories off people queueing for hours! there was no pushing or anything and was really civilised, amazing for essex!!

I would love to know where these people that say Next is bad quality and they can get cheaper are buying their clothes from.
Not one of them have mentioned a store.0 -

Plenty of loonies around to keep you company then.0 -
The sale near me started at 4am. I got there about 10 minutes before it opened and there were a couple of hundred people in front of me. I knew what I wanted before I got in there and managed to get everything except for one jacket (which I don't really need anyway
).
I know some people don't think it's worth it, but as well as a few other bits I got three coats for £100.00 in total which would have cost £100, £90 and £50 each pre-sale. Also, I always get vouchers for christmas as I think it's a waste asking someone to buy me something which is going to be less than half price two days after christmas.0 -
I rolled into Next Chester yesterday at 13:00 and got some really nice shirts for work all £10 - £12... I normally always buy shirts from Tesco, Asda or Primark for less money but nowhere as nice and not as good quality too...
I only buy work shirts though, I think a lot of next stuff is for older men...
Still loads of nice shirts in Next Festival Park (Stoke on trent) when I went there today at 14:00..
Anyonw know when they will make the "final reductions" on sale items?

I hope in my life, i wont ever be so desperate to get a few quid off of something to get out of bed at 4am in the morning. Please lord dont let me lower myself to that.
And while im here, if it wasnt for the next sale (and other stores, granted) i bet most stores wouldnt even have a sale till janurary when they are meant to start. Then i wouldnt have to get up and be at work for 8am tomorrow sodding morning. argh, why cant people blimming well wait untill janurary!!0 -

ps if you dont like it ,dont work in retail, hardly rocket science ?0 -
I just really don't understand why other people have to be insulting? I thought this forum was about saving money, which is what we have all done by going to the sale. So if you don't want to get up at 4am then don't, but why be rude to others that chose to? I am glad i was mad and got up that early, i am pleased with everything i got and I will be doing the same next year
oh and one more point, Next clothes fit my children perfect where as primark, tescos etc don't as these seem to be made for tall skinny kids. Next wash up brilliant time after time, and I begrudge paying full price when i know a few weeks later they will be half price, so I am proud of the money I have saved.0
