Can you have long grain rice as a HE B on a red day? I thpught you could but I cannot find it in the book.

I'm sure when I've done sw before, that wholemeal rice was a Healthy B on a red day, but it doesn't seem to be any more :(

Well done Tenmah, bev 62 and Bargain babe on losing : O ) and good luck crispeater tomorrow.
Welcome to all the new joiners too.
Well I'm afraid I went off the rails yesterday. I have to do a really long work day twice a month which involves a commute on a flight. Normally I have beans on toast at 4.30am before I leave the house but yesterday I couldn´t face it and ended up having a croissant at the airport, soup and a bar of chocolate for lunch, free snacks at the airport on the way home and another pain au chocolat on the plane : ( plus fish and veg for dinner.
So that was a total of 49 syns. .. I tried to be good today to make up for it but have had 16 syns today too so all in all not a good couple of days. Never mind it is star week so I now know what people were talking about!

I´m quite veggie and have been getting bored of the same old foods too which could have been a problem but then I read that loads of quorn things are free: tikka mini fillets, swedish style balls, lemon & pepper bites and fillets in mushroom & white wine sauce - so will stock up.

good morning to you all..... im going to try a green day today... so for breakfast i saved some boiled spuds from their dinner last night, so im going to mash them and fry in fry light , also having mushrooms, beans and 2 linda Mc Cartney sausages... im soooo looking forward to it.
got a bit of a problem , we are off to London in the morning as its sil birthday so the whole family will be there and they are having a massive chinese takeaway. they are not supportive at all and they will def give me greif if i dont have it... but its only the deep fried really bad stuff that i like so i know that i will be so bad if i eat it so im going to have to take some prepared food with me and upset them.. i dont even want to drink the wine.. id rather have my syns on better things
anyway hope you all do well today.. im also going to have a go at making the doritos and a dip to snack on tonight

Like others have said, it's normal to weigh more in the evening than the morning. Also, if your evening weigh-in was at the class, their scales could be different to yours.

a while back i went to wi and then only an 20 minutes later i was at the docs for an appointment.. i was 7lb lighter on the docs scales lol that just proves all scales really are odd and i reckon im normal and all the scales are wrong :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
It only seems kinky the first time.. :A

Maintain or lose the week before, yes (and stay to class if you mean in class)
No free week for Slimmer of The Week but you do usually get a bowl of fruit/free food which every member brings a piece for every week?

Generally it doesn't matter - as long as you're measured by the same scales throughout your weight loss - thats why SW consultants tell you not to weigh yourself at home. Whatever your starting weight on any scale, it'll still measure any weight loss! Half a stone for example is half a stone whether you start at 12.1lbs/12.8lbs!
