I am so glad I have some antiAS sisters on here!!Funnily enough Miss Phish I suffer from IBS!! I am currently sat having some sugarfree tonic so I am like you, torn between the two. It is either that or I think I would be tempted to sod the syns and have a bottle of wine tonight I am feeling so down due to DS's tantrums. But I don't suppose that is any better for my liver so tonight I will allow myself that. On top of that I haven't actually had my dinner yet as I have been on the phone moaning about DS to a friend. Anyone got a magic wand for the terrible twos (which look likely to be carrying on well into his 3s)?0

Hi
Just thought I would share my tip. I know lots of people think instant mash is foul, but its FREE on green and therefore worth trying to like.
So sometimes I have it for breakfast - yes.
Mix up a one-two person portion (I have twoish being greedy guts) -incidentally you get three sachets with Morrisons Bettabuy Instant Mash for 50p!!!!
You can also fry a couple of Quorn sausages in frylight and then chop them up. Add to mash. Then place half a tin of baked beans (heated up in microwave) on top of the mash and sausages if used. Then top with your healthy a) choice of cheese - I use 1 oz mature cheddar. It is seriously comforting and filling.
I use this recipe when I am in a rush, have no suitable food in - in fact have it for lunch and supper too.
Finish off under the grill.
My ds who is not on slimming world absolutely loves this. Quick and simple.Grocery Challenge £139/240 until 31/01

Nice easy dessert which works out at 1 sin if you use it as two portions.
Sugar Free Jelly mixed up to half pint. Allow to cool slightly. Then use 0% fat fromage frais (cheapest Morrisons at 75p for 500g). Divide into two or four portions depending on appetite. 4 portions then equals 1/2 sin each. This can work out nice and cheap when for instance Mullers go up in price or you get sick of them. This is a lot more filling.
Sugar free jelly mixed with cloudy lemonade (sugar free). As above but top up to the pint level with the lemonade. Gives it a nice kick. Same syn values as above.
Total 2% at around 2 sins per pot makes a lovely topping.

I have just started back on slimming world- doing it myself- but am going to use this thread as support too!!! (if you will let me! ) I still have all my old books, recipes etc, from when i did it 2 years ago, but the village i live in now, only does weight watchers, i dont drive so i cant get to the nearest SW class for me! I would do it online, but the fee is quite a lot (imo) I have lost 8lbs this week! Ideally i want to lose at least 3 stone (4 would be nicer!) Good luck to all!Now im debt free i want to be fat free too!0
