Hi all, I hope you have all had a better week than me.. Well it is my first weigh in tomorrow night and I really think I have not done well. I have done WW before and I am used to losing 5lbs or so in my first week! Has anyone else had this problem ? I really hope that next week I will do better.....0

Hi,I use the small powder sachets of Hartleys sugar free jelly, can anyone confirm how many syns. I can't believe that a portion which is only 8 cal and no fat or carbs counts as a syn.. I must have worked it out wrong cos I worked it out as 1.5 syns0

hello, i'm barging in on this thread!!
I lost 1 and a half stone last year with SW, then took a 6 month break while i got married/had honeymoon and got xmas out of the way.
I've put on a couple of ponds since then but its nothing major. I reckon I have a stone and a half maximum left to lose and joined up again last week.
I love cooking from scratch and cooking healthy balanced meals now. SW has taught me LOADS!!
so good luck everyone!Proud to be dealing with my debts

I really like the fact that SW is something that you can a take a break from & then dive back in. I ALWAYS have a Christmas break then start again in January. IMO it makes you appreciate everything much more. I know SW is a re-education for life as well, but it's nice sometimes not to see everything in Red & Green0 -

yes you are right!

In the Food optimising book it says sugar free jelly crystals dried is 2 syns and made up with 142 ml water is 0.5 so is the above the dried amount then? Presumably it would be 0.5 syn at most made up with water0 -
are there any percentage figures available for how many people go to these places, SW, WW etc etc, lose weight, then pile it back on after they stop ?0

Acehole,
slimming world is not like weightwatchers
It teaches you to cook healthily and have a balanced diet.
At the end of the day they can't do more than that. If people choose to go back to bad habits then its hardly the slimming clubs fault! If people decided to research themselves how to have a healthy balanced diet, surely it is the same thing? I for one need help with it and am glad that I found slimming world!Proud to be dealing with my debts
