  • It could be that you are a little sensitive to the wheat in the pasta and noodles. I would avoid those for a week and see if it makes a difference.

However, 160 is right, you should really be varying the foods you eat and drinking a mimimum of 2½ litres of water every day. Try to have plenty of fruit, vegetables and salads with your meals to provide interest and don't forget to have your healthy extras.

Thank you to you and 160. Gotta feeling you are right there. I do fill up on the convenience food, mother of 2 young uns and all that. I do eat a lot of fruit at around 4 pints of water a day but do lack on the veg (apart from onion and tin toms) as i only really like veg with gravy on. Will have a scourer of the forums to find more veg based dinners as i only really do mountain of potatoes, veg and meat. Would love a veg soup recipe if anyone has one?

oh and the fish and potatoe pie i made out of the mag i had to replace with chicken as had no cod was revolting! Will be raiding the fruit bowl for the rest of the evening.

    Thanks again.

    Hiya all

Hubby is SW consultant so we eat and breathe it lol
I lost 1stone last year just by easting whatever he was giving me and still eating what I liked whenever he wasn't around:rotfl:
Anyway a nice soup we love and can be knocked up in 20 mins is this

    11lb tomatoes
    chichen stock (made with bovril)
    1 carrot
    1 onion

Skin tomatoes in hot water, basically you bung everything in the pan and simmer for around 20/30mins and then blend it until smooth. Season with plenty salt and pepper and your done. Free on both days
