I need to find really tasty recipes that both my DH and I like, or I am really going to struggle as I don't want to have to cook two meals at night.
Anyone have any suggestions
Hi, I like creamy sauces also and I made a SW variation of my fave cream mustard sauce last night and it was v nice. Basically it is:-
steak in strips
onion
mushrooms
chicken stock
french mustard
yoghurt
dry fry the steak and remove from pan. Dry fry onion and mushroom to get a bit colour. Add some french mustard (about 2 teaspoons) to hot chicken stock (about quart pint) good mix and add to pan. Cook for a bit and then add the steak back to pan. Turn heat down to simmer, add yoghurt (to make creamy) heat through gently. I mixed a bit cornflour to cold water and added at last minute to thicken.
Hope someone gives it a go!! I reckon only syn is chick stock (unless bovril) and poss cornflour
maintained weight this week - not happy:mad:0 -
sorry to hear about your sts, but at least it isnt a gain
