  • Hmmm, apparently it can't do paragraphs either!
  • Hi guys,
Bit naughty last night - had over 20 Syns when I returned from work! (Ouch!) - TBH, it was still an awful lot less than when I normally binge...so that's a positive, and it made me think about what I was eating.
The curry was really nice, and I'm chuffed how easy it was - problem is the lads want me to make a biggun for my shift next time - LOL.
having a FREE fry up for brunch, then Ainsley's cous cous with grilled chicken & red pepper added for tonight.
Back soon, gotta get me work stuff ready
    Cheers you lot

My 2nd weigh in is tonight, looking forward to it but still really worried incase i havent done as well as i hope.

I've done loads of activity this week and bought the natalie cassidy DVD which ive done every night so HOPE i lose! LOL
  • Well done Aimee and Nessa, it's good to hear of sucess....hopefully keep me mentally tough for the battle ahead and I'm sure it helps to inspire others.
I was asked for my veg. curry recipe, so here goes as far as i can remember.
Fried in fry lite red pepper, onion and garlic for a few mins. Added courgette, and frozen cauliflower. Then added mushrooms and cooked for 5 mins.(Kept on stiring).Poured in a tin chopped tomatoes, and 1 1/2 teaspn med. curry powder and covered, simmering for 1/2 hour. Removed the cover for the last 5 mins to slightly thicken. Served with brown rice, which tastes "nutty", but I found it quite filling.

  • Had a bad night last night - think it was due to 2 things....

1, Maintaining at wi yesterday put me on a downer
2, My team won the cup final last night so the wine and beer was flowing - listened to the game on the radio - I am paying for it today though.......

I've had a packet of crisps this morning which I normally steer clear of as I love them so much so i'm high in syns already. But I have been good for lunch and had a jacket with beans and cheese as a HEA

Off to mum's for tea, she's making stew so will HEB the meat and enjoy the potatoes and parsnips (i'm usually a Red woman!!)

My other HEB has gone on a Hi-Fi Christmas pudding, why oh why do they not make these all year round they are delicious!!

I have just been into the learning library at work as we have purchased copies of the recipie books from SW - I have jotted down a few recipies for inspiration!

I plan my meals for the month - next month I may plan a green month - sometimes I think it's easier to do green as you can have more things - especially in our restaurant here....

Just off to get my fruit jelly out of the fridge now to give me a kick!
It's nice to be nutty but's more important to be nice

    Couple of notes:
    1) If you haven't read the mse weekly newsletter, this looks like a good and relevant freebie: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=747623
    2) Kellogg's Crunchy Oatbakes are nice to munch like biscuits. They're kind of like cinnamony hobnobs! (they are HEBs)
