Yeah it is niggling with me a bit, but as I didn't say anything I suppose I just have to assume it's right, and try harder this week! I don't really want to start weighing myself on my own scales to compare weightloss (or gain!), as I will get obsessive and start weighing myself ten times a day!
Think I will leave it this week, but if it happens again I will either say something at the time, or if I'm too chicken, ring my consultant during the week and mention it to her.
do they have elctronic scales? if so they are meant to settle and beep, and you shouldn't be forking out money for a guesstimate of a weigh in, lol. although some weeks i'd like that better i think.
my weigh in tonight, no idea why, but got butterflies, think its cos i'm close to my stone award and know i've been good and know i'll be gutted if i don't get it.
nessa - well done on your weight loss, i'm really pleased for you, was keeping my fingers crossed last night for you, so glad it went well.0 -
Thanks to everyone who took the time to answer my questions! I am writing it all down in a notebook cos Im VERY forgetful. I have just spent hours doing a 2 week plan and shopping list and I am going to follow it for the next 4 weeks and see what happens. So today I am going to have a green day and really looking forward to my dinner of quorn sausages, beans, mushrooms and a mountain of sw chips;)
My weigh in is going to be on wednesdays as I started yesterday and at the moment feeling in a positive mood. I so need to loose this weight before we move to nz so hoping you lot can keep me on the straight and narrow!
I must confess to a chocolate addiction and use my syns for a kitkat or something but I do like dark chocolate so thinking of breaking up a bar and freezing it and then having a square at a time but will have to work out syns.
I love cooking which I thought I would miss but made the cous cous cake from a website someone posted and it wasnt bad at all and the syn free lemon meringues were delish.
Have a good day everyone xSW started 13/2Weight Loss 2lb0 -

I was a bit disappointed it wasn't a Stone though, (a bit premature maybe?;) )SEALED POT CHALLENGE 6 - MEMBER NUMBER 086 Special Star from Sue :staradmin :T:T0 -
def a bit premature for a stone, but as someone said eaarlier, slowly slowly, always seems to work best, just keep going at you'll get there.0

Yes they are electronic, the bit you stand on is like a square metal box, then just have a wire connecting them to a very small digital display on the desk. I've never noticed a beep at all, will have to listen out for that next week. Do all SW groups use the same type of scales?
Good luck with your weigh in, I can relate to the butterflies!!0 -

Snuggles
:grouphug: Its hard to stick to the plan when something like that happens, Hang on in there till next week. Failing that I am sure once you have paid you can go to any groups you want through the week. A bit like alcoholics Anonymous. ( on a frivalous note I always want to stand up in group and do an AA style "Hello my name is Em and I am a compulsive cake eater!:rotfl: " Its a very bad thing to be imagining in your head as the leader is talking! She is so good aswell, very welcomming and very reassuring)
My own scales are in the kitchen, I find I jump on and off all day long. More out of curiosity then anything else. I have noticed when I keep an eye on my weight day to day I tend to be better at sticking to the diet! It gives me that boost I need not to eat that cake that is calling to me from the tin.
My Dad is following the diet with me and he gets weighed on my scales at home on my weigh in night. I have found that my jkitchen scales are about 1lb heavier then the SW scales at group. ALso cause the scales are there in the kitchen next to the fridge it is a not so subtle reminder every time I open the fridge!!
I suppose I could go to every group I can find and see which scales I weigh the least on - those would be the most accurate of course! :rotfl:
I find weighing myself daily can work both ways, if I like what it says it spurs me on, but if I don't there's a danger I'll think, oh sod it, I'm going to eat cake!0
